Had my FUE done 2 weeks and one day ago. For the past few days (5 Aprox) I've noticed shedding like this on my pillow and when I shower. Does it seem normal to you guys? I'm not very worried as I know that shedding is very natural. I'm just looking for a reassuring opinion. Thanks
Answer: Post Graft Shedding Post operative shedding can be expected approximately 3-4 weeks after grafting. New regrowth will then begin at approximately 3-4 months. there may also be some temporary "shock loss" in the area of native hairs which should resolve in a few months. As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).

Answer: Shedding 2 weeks after FUE It is normal to get shedding 2 weeks after hair transplant by FUT or FUE. The shock of the transplant causes the hairs to shed, but they regrow after a month or two. Don't worry, what you are experiencing is normal, Dr. Robert Jones

Answer: Shedding These hairs will sooner or later shed. They are never a problem for new hairs that start to grow. Usually, there is a lag time between the time the hairs shed (2-8 weeks) and the time the new hair grows (3-8 months). IF for any reason, there is an overlap between the two, pay no attention to it for when the new hair grows, the old hairs from the grafts that may persist beyond 8 weeks, will eventually shed
