I am only 6 months post-op, so not sure if this is part of the normal dropping process. But my left breast seems to be completely normal, while my right one feels and looks out of place. It appears to have shifted towards the center of my chest and is no longer in the correct breast pocket? It also has a slightly different sensation than the left breast. A bit more numb and may be on a different nerve. Should I be concerned or is this normal given the time period?
Answer: Breasts You appear to have some bottoming out of the one side. I would suggest going back to your surgeon and discussing your concerns.

Answer: The revision surgery is not necessary yert, but it might be after 1 year. The left breast looks relatively fine, but the right has an inferomedial malposition of the implant. As a result, there are also findings of double bubble deformity. It is necessary to reduce the right shoulder strap of the bra and raise the right implant so that it can go up even slightly. Since it's already been 6 months, it may not go up well, but at least it should not go down any further. If 1 year after surgery is similar or worse than the current situation, revision surgery, which closes the implant space and raises the position of the implant, should be considered.Sensation will recover a little more until 1-2 years after surgery, but there is a possibility that it will not completely recover, and now all you can do is waiting.

Answer: Implant revision? Your photos suggest that the implant has migrated beyond the edge of the natural breast creating a "double bubble." If this is aesthetically troublesome to you, it can be improved by repositioning the implant. Schedule an appointment with you surgeon to discuss your options.

Answer: Implant Revision It seems that the breast has bottomed out. This would require downsizing, reinforcing the breast fold with Galaflex, and tightening the implant pocket.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Kshea33, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.
