I am starting to lose weight. I've already lost 30lbs, but I've always had wide set, saggy breasts. I want them closer together for nicer cleavage once I get to my goal weight. And I also would like them to be perky. I really don't want to get implants. I am currently a 40DDD. I would really like smaller areolas as well.

Answer: Can wide set, saggy breasts be fixed? (photo) You're doing the hard, but essential part: Losing weight. Breast lift (mastopexy) and/or breast lift-reduction (reduction mammaplasty), if well done, will lift breasts higher on chest, improve to rounded shape, diminish areola size, preserve sensation, and all with minimally or invisible scars. You can get the cleavage you want and more perky breasts, and will not need implants because of your naturally large breast volume.

Answer: Breast lift Once you lose all the weight you are planning to lose, then you will be ready for your breast lift. You may require either a vertical breast lift (lollipop pattern) or a wise pattern (anchor incision) depending on how much excess skin you have after you reach your goal weight. Consult with a few plastic surgeons for an exam in person to gather more information.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno
