I had a breast lift (no implant) two weeks ago. I was anticipating going back to the gym at 3 weeks, is that correct?I typically do 30 min cardio 4x a week and weight lifting 5 days a week. I have been told no excessive exercise, but I am struggling to understand what constitutes "excessive?"

Answer: Exercis after breast surgery Thank you for your question. The bottom line is to always follow the instructions of your surgeon. Most surgeons will have you refrain from vigorous exercise for 4-6 weeks. Chat with your surgeon of their staff and they can give you specific recommendations. Best wishes.

Answer: Exercise after Breast Lift It really all depends on how you feel. A safe, conservative number is 4 weeks - but if it was a smaller lift, the wounds are healed, and you feel well, then you can return sooner. Let your body guide your return to exercising; if it hurts or aches, then don't do it, or go lighter. You're workout regimen is fairly aggressive, I would start off slowly and work your way into your regular routine. Good luck and hope this helps!
