Brazilian butt lift is a procedure to make the butt look bigger, round, and fuller. The most important improvement however is the improved shape of the butt after this surgery. The beauty of this operation is that no foreign material is used. The patients own fat is transferred to the butt by removing excess fat in some areas and re-injecting it into the butt area. The procedure is therefore totally natural. After a suitable course of healing, the procedure can be repeated as often as necessary to achieve your desired outcome as long as their is enough fat in other areas to be transferred to the buttock. However in the vast majority of cases, one operation achieves an excellent result that patients are extremely happy with.
When the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure is done well, it rarely needs to be repeated. Doing it well comes down to the technique that the surgeon uses as well as the patient following the instructions given by an experienced surgeon who has great results. I have performed this procedure hundreds of times over the past 15 years and have only had about 10 patients want to have even more fat transferred to their buttocks a second time. And, none of them were doing it because it didn't work the first time. They were doing it because they love their results so much that they wanted even more. The only limits are....how much fat you have available to transfer, how much is likely to survive and how much fat your buttocks will hold.
The limit is the amount of fat that you have and tisue laxity that your rear end has, you do not want to over transfer as it will actually cause an increase in failure of the fat grafting, i.e. less will take, if unhappy with the amount, sometimes a second procedure is required.
If you divide the fat transfer into several sessions properly spaced then you can put as much fat as you want, to achieve the results you want.
You can have just about as much fat as you want transferred for a Brazilian Butt Lift. However, you can only transfer as much fat as you have in the donor areas - excess fat. Also, since the fat is transferred as free fat grafts, it must gain new blood supply to stay alive - similar to transplanting plants in your garden. Transferring smaller amounts in multiple tunnels, rather than a single large lump, will enhance the survivability of the fat. In all cases, there will be some fat that does not survive and will disappear. You are quite correct that more than one session may be required to get the best final result.

If the lumps and hardness is due to fat necrosis. They may not respond to mesotherapy or accoustic wave therapy. An MRI will confirm if it is fat necrosis. Then through physical exam will decide if liposuction will remove it or direct surgical excision and subsequent repeat of the Brazilian...
