Answer: Voluma Hello, thank you for your question! Voluma is a wonderful product. The strength of this filler is such that it can in fact provide a lift to the tissue. How much lift will depend on the provider's technique- in our office we use a specific technique developed by Dr. Petropoulos herself to ensure proper lifting. Correct placement and technique in the temples and cheeks can help somewhat with marionette lines, especially if they are "minor" like you say, but often times other treatments are required to resolve the concern. Best of luck in you search! I hope this helped. Genie Alexander, RN BSN for Dr. Anna Petropoulos, MD FRCS at Center for Classic Beauty, Boston and Danvers, MA.

Answer: Facial Rejuvenation for Marionette Lines Thank you for your question! It is difficult to answer your question without examining you in person or reviewing your photos. However, based on my experience Voluma is best placed in the cheek/mid face area. Usually, adding volume/Voluma to the cheeks does not address other areas of the face. Unless you are using many many syringes of filler. Unfortunately, the more filler you use, the more risk for an unnatural result. Make sure you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss options for your marionette lines. You may want to consider the Y Lift procedure to address both your cheeks and jawline.
