Sculptra - puffy lower face. Would Voluma or Morpheus8 help to balance out lower face? (Photos)

The pictures are great and there is no puffy lower face that I see. Advice for future injection:1. Wait 3 months to see full effect of your Sculptra2. Add more volume to temples to lift the jowls3. Ultherapy for lower face to tighten the face and not to add more volume

Hello michelemm76, thank you for your question! While Sculptra can be a wonderful solution for certain types of volume loss, it is not perfect (nothing is). It is important to assess the entire face to understand the cause of the loss rather than just treating the effect (as you stated, "jowls"). In our practice, we take multiple approaches to correcting volume loss and restoring facial harmony. Voluma, when correctly placed in the temples and along the upper cheekbones, actually helps to lift the lower face which helps achieve the youthful heart shape of the face. This would likely reduce your feeling of "too much" in the lower face. RF treatments like Morpheus 8 can be great for tightening skin which we also recommend- but utilizing it to reduce volume is not recommended. "Sinking" your cheeks in may bring you back to square one with the jowling. I hope this helps! Best of luck in your search. Thanks for your question and the photos you uploaded. I do appreciate the jowls you are trying to camouflage. Jowls are formed of fat deposit and loose skin. I would try to address these problems first before adding volume. I would recommend Morpheus 8 to the area. Make sure you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon, and discuss Morpheus 8 Body, which can go 8 mm deep and kill off some of those deep fatty deposits. Good luck!

Sculptra is much different then traditional fillers. It doesn't fill so much as stimulate collagen. Voluma is a powerful filler that adds volume and would work in a much different manner. Morpheus 8 tightens loose skin. If you are committed to Sculptra then it does require continued treatment. Each of these options would improve your face but in different ways. There is not a correct answer so make sure you discuss your goals with your provider.

Based on your photos, you could get Renuva to balance your face (it very effectively promotes fat growth)

Sculptra is still cooking and you will see better results in about 3 months. Please be patient. Morpheus can be done later for skin tightening if you desire, but Sculptra is for overall volume and improvement in skin texture.

From your photos you may want to consider Renuva. This will provide a longer term result in balancing the face. It works by the Renuva being gradually replaced with your own fat over a few months. Visit a provider near you to learn more.

Hello, and thank you for your inquiry! By adding a little Voluma to your cheeks I think that you will feel more balanced. This will give more definition to your cheeks.
