Would extended tummy tuck with back liposuction be enough or should I consider fleur de lis tummy tuck and back lift? (photos)

In my opinion, a vertical incision for skin excess is rarely needed, and certainly not in your case. With a 'high lateral tension' abdominoplasty technique, the scar can be kept low and in the bikini line. If you contact me I can send you a link to a photo. Also, the back will probably need a skin excision in addition to liposuction, but the timing of this is something you should discuss thoroughly with your surgeon.

congratulations on your weight loss and lifestyle changes. A tummy tuck combined with liposuction (front and back) will give you a nice result . A vertical scar seems really not to be necessary to get a nice result. Some patients benefit from a fascial plication (i.e. tightening of the six pack muscles) esp after pregnancies. The rolls of the back will most likely not completely disappear with liposuction only. A bra line lift might be needed. I hope this helps

Congratulations on your weight loss! When it comes to your tummy, I think a traditional tummy tuck will give you a nice result. A fleur-de-lis tummy tuck would of course remove slightly more skin, but for patients who are concerned about the scar and have the majority of their skin excess in the horizontal dimension, a tummy tuck alone should produce a very nice result. The vertical component of the FDL incision can also be done at a later time if you decided down the road that you wanted it. When it comes to the back, an upper body/back lift is going to be your best option. While liposuction can help smooth some of the bulging, it will not take away the creases that are present and can make that hanging skin worse/more evident. A bra-line lift will dramatically improve the contour of your back, and the scar will be hidden under your bra or a two piece bathing suit. Good luck to you!

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. Based on what you've described, I believe an extended tummy tuck would give you excellent results. I don't think a fleur-de-lis tummy tuck is necessary for your case. Your back rolls seem to be skin rolls and go all the way to your vertebral column. Extended abdominoplasty does not address that far in the back.

Unfortunately, you have not shown us your breasts. I recommend a breast lift using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. This technique will also pull up the upper abdominal skin to eliminate the need for the fleur de lis. At the same time, a tummy tuck can be done. After these have been completed, I recommend you wait 3-6 months and then consider posterior lift, either the back or the buttocks, continuing the incision from the breast lift.

First of all congratulations on this great achievement, you should be proud!looking at the pictures I would say that you will likely have a good outcome from an extended abdominoplasty alone , you might still have some loose skin in the horizontal direction but depending on your tolerance of scars you will likely find that favorable over having a vertical scar ( it all depends on you!, you get to make the final call).As for your back , liposuction will only take care of the fat deposits left , but will do little to tighten the skin , even if coupled with energy devices , there are limits to how much skin retraction you will be able to achieve. So you will most likely end up with an upper back lift ( but again you make the final call on that too).I hope this helps, best of luck !
