Standard tummy tuck or extended? + BBL (Photo)

Question

Hi, I am considering a tummy tuck plus BBLwith 360 liposuction. Regarding tummy tuck will I be suitable to do the extended tummy tuck? As I am looking forward to getting an hourglass shape. I am worried about my upper belly as it has a bulge. Not sure it will go with surgery. BBL lift for my butt...best shape would be heart or round?

I would begin with a breast lift using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. This technique also lifts the upper abdominal skin. At the same time, you can undergo a tummy tuck. You will eventually need a circumferential lift.

Thank you for sharing your goals and photos. I believe you will get great results from an extended tummy tuck, liposuction 360, and a heart-shaped BBL. An extended tummy tuck will address excess skin and help create a smoother, more contoured abdomen, while lipo 360 will refine your flanks and back to complement the hourglass shape you're seeking. A heart-shaped BBL can further enhance your silhouette and provide the fullness and contour you desire for your buttocks.

However, for optimal results, I recommend focusing on weight loss first. The bulge in your upper abdomen could be due to muscle weakness of your rectus abdominis (diastasis recti), which a tummy tuck with muscle repair can address. However, it could also be caused by visceral fat, which lies deeper around your internal organs and cannot be removed surgically. Weight loss is the only way to reduce visceral fat, and doing so would significantly improve your abdominal contour and enhance the outcomes of your tummy tuck and BBL.

By achieving a lower and stable weight, we can safely remove more fat during liposuction, allowing for a more dramatic transformation. I recommend consulting with your plastic surgeon about creating a surgical plan that aligns with your weight-loss goals. based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Thank you for posting your question here!My answer will be based on the limited information and pictures provided , for a detailed and personalized plan I would recommend that you consult with your plastic surgeon in person.
As you start consulting with different plastic surgeons you will get different opinions, and you will have to decide based on who you feel comfortable with. but all of them will probably ask you to reach your goal weight first if possible prior to your surgery. If you are already there then they will assess the reason of the bulging upper abdomen , if it is internal fat then surgical intervention will not fix that , if it is secondary to an over stretched fascia then plication during a tummy tuck will fix it . If it is external fat then coupling your abdominoplasty with liposuction will probably fix that issue. When it comes to proceeding with an extended vs regular abdominoplasty , based on the pictures , you do seem to hold some fat and loose skin in your flanks, the fat can be taken down through liposuction but you will likely benefit from an extended abdominoplasty as that will deal with the excess skin and help avoid any dog ears, that being said this will include a longer scar but will give you a better hourglass shape .

Hello,The best option for you is Lipoabdominoplasty, 360 liposuction, and fat injection to the buttocks, also known as BBL. With Lipoabdominoplasty, fat is removed from the upper abdomen, the loosened abdominal muscles are tightened with stitches, and the excess skin from the lower abdomen is removed. Liposuction on the waist and back will not only slim the waist but also allow for fat injection into the buttocks to achieve an hourglass shape. For the fat injection, real-time ultrasound is used to ensure that the fat is not injected into the muscles. All of these procedures can be performed in a single session.

You already have a great body frame and great skin. 
I see an important aspect which must improve before surgery: a large amount of visceral fat which make you look protruding, and no surgery will eliminate visceral fat but losing weight before surgery. If you don’t lose weight and make your abdomen flat before surgery, muscle repair will not be possible to do and no improvement on the protruding appearance and no improvement on the waistline. 
After you achieve a flatter abdomen, you will be a great candidate for a Regular Tummy Tuck unless your buttocks become saggy as well as your lovehandles, then you will be candidate for a Circumferential Tummy tuck to tighten the lovehandles and lift the buttocks. A tight muscle repair will be absolutely essential to achieve a flatter abdomen abdomen and tapered waist. I would also advise liposuction to waist, lovehandles, possibly back, and use that fat to transfer to buttocks and hips.

Thank you for your query. Based on your photos you will benefit from a 360 liposuction, BBL and a standard Tummy tuck. An extended tummy tuck incision does not appear necessary. Tightening of the diastases of the muscles should help with the upper part in addition to the liposuction. The full tuck with liposuction to your flanks would do very nicely for you. Once the excess fat in your flanks is removed, you will see you actually have a nice shape to your buttocks.

An in person evaluation is best but based on your photos you will have some improvement with a tummy tuck and liposuction.  However it appears your visceral fat will keep your results from being optimal.  Visceral fat is the fat that surrounds your organs and is behind your muscle wall.  This is what creates the "bulge" that you mentioned. It is not improved with a tummy tuck or liposuction but is improved with weight loss.  I encourage you to get as close to your ideal weight before having surgery to give your surgeon the opportunity to maximize your results.
