In 2002 I had fat injections to fill out loss of volume in my cheeks. The left side became fuller than the right resulting in a "line" defining the right cheekbone area that is not seen on the left. See pictures. What is the best option to correct this? I am also considering mid facelift, blepharoplasty or browlift, botox, and filler (fat) in chin wrinkles. Thank you for your opinions!
Answer: Cheekbone Without seeing you in person the answer to to your question is not ideal. A facelift is part of the the solution and filling with fat to even out the line underneath your cheek bone. Fat, however, may not stay and you may need repeat treatments

Answer: Cheek asymmetry Thanks for posting your picture and question. I can see the differences you are pointing out. it's difficult to tell without in person examination, but it's possible you had differences in how much fat survived, or some other difference in technique between the two sides. This can likely be corrected with a small amount of additional fat transfer, and possibly a small amount of micro liposuction if excess fat needs to be removed from your right cheek. You certainly are a good candidate for face and neck lift as well, which could be done at the same time. Make sure you are seeing a surgeon that has the proper credentials.

Answer: Options for Facial Asymmetry and Aging Correction Thank you for providing your photos. That is very helpful. You have many options that you could choose to make changes however what would be best really depends upon your goals and budget. What would be helpful is to outline what you would like to achieve such as correction of the asymmetry and/or a less tired look around your eyes and less sad look around you mouth. A combination of long term fillers that are much more predictable than fat combined with surgery, would be a great option if those are indeed your goals. In the end, you really need to meet a plastic surgeon in person and discuss your goals so that the surgeon can give you appropriate answers. I have added a web reference for you as well as video that may help you. Best regards.

Answer: Correct right side I have done lots of these. You have a joker line on the right. See my article on my website. At the minimum, without a facelift, is to simply fill the area from the corner of the mouth outward. It needs to be done in stages and will last upwards of a year with an ha filler. You will get significant improvement without downtime
