I had breast augmentation surgery four days ago. 275cc tear drop shaped, over the muscle. I consulted with one other surgeon but the care I felt with Dr Windle (and Pam) made it an easy decision. I am 36YO. I breast fed my daughter for one year and she sucked the life out of my chest. I like to work out daily so I am athletic/slim build. I wanted some volume and proportion added back. I have added some before pictures - teeny tiny, 32A. Surgery day - the thing that hurt the most, for me, was the IV insertion. I don’t remember anything once the IV drugs kicked in. No pain or discomfort post surgery, but major nausea for me. BE CAREFUL when you take your post nap shower. My husband was there but I did faint. One Aleve before bed, and Hallelujah arm raises every half hour. 1st day post surgery - One Aleve in the morning and then every 8 hours. Stiff and sore. Took a shower and did my hallelujah arm raises. Getting moving (even though I didn’t want to) helped a lot. Doing little things around the house (laundry, empty dishwasher, light cooking), trying to be normal is helping me get used to the stiffness and weight. In the afternoon I went for a long walk, came home and did some low impact strength training and stretches. As Dr W says, motion is lotion. The more I move the better I feel. 2nd day post surgery - chest is still rock hard and stiff. Taking one Aleve every 8ish hours. I went to the gym this morning and did mostly lower body cardio. I am feeling frustrated at my discomfort and lack of motion but trying to remind myself how far my range of motion has come back already. I am holding off on post surgery pics, as I’m not giving my chest much attention as it is still very hard and I’m waiting for the drop n fluff (as they say). I left a message with Dr Windle as I noticed my left side was more sore than my right, I wanted to make sure this was ok. Pam called back within a half hour and said it's all good - completely normal. I will also note that I am feeling very emotional, up and down, and trying to give myself grace that these feelings are normal as the drugs flush out of my body. Also, major night sweats for me. I have read up on this and most people attribute this to the drugs flushing their way out of my body. 3rd day post surgery - Still taking Aleve for the pain/discomfort/soreness. Still rock hard and trying to be nice to myself. Another day taking it easy at the gym, lower bod cardio, low impact training, stretching. I have been wearing zip front bras (cheapos from Amazon - for size, I bought M, used to be a S) and old nursing bras. Work great! I will post updates/pics in the days, weeks to come. Updated on 11 Aug 2021: Yesterday I had my three week post op appointment with Dr Windle. He said everything looks great - tape is off. Minimal scarring but now I am putting the Sientra scar cream on 2x day. There is more soreness/burising on my left than my right and still some settling to happen as they are quite firm still. I'll point out that after one week I ceased the Aleves (per his orders!) and never looked back. I am nearly 100% back to normal gym routine minus super fast running and pushups. After my appointment I treated myself to some shopping and got measured at VS. I am now a 32D :) So for reference: I was a 32A, added 275CC tear drop gummy bear Sientra implants, and I'm now a 32D. Ask me questions, hope this helps someone out there trying to make up their mind!
I first went to Dr. Windle for a minor 'liquid nose job' (Bellafill) which turned out fantastic. A month later, I decided to go back and see him to have my lower eye bags smoothed with some Bellafill... then my husband decided he wanted his eyes done too (also turned out great!) and then my mom wanted her eyes done too!! (YES - these little fixes make a huge difference) What a whirlwind but my family looks pretty darn great now!! ;) Thanks, Dr. Windle and Pam!
I had a permanent filler injected to correct the asymmetry of the nose. Dr.Windle was very informative, caring, and absolutely skilled in his profession. This was the result I was looking for. Office assistant Pam was very warm and engaging. Would highly recommend them!
I am 1 week post face lift by Dr. Windle. So far the results look AMAZING. Fast recovery so far and I am able to go back to work. Pam, his nurse, was great during surgery. I will post pictures once my swelling is completely gone.
Amazing! Dr. Windle and staff were excellent and professional. I love my results and I’m only 11 days post op. His recovery method is spot on! I was back to normal routine 2nd day post op. Highly recommended.
I had 350cc saline, under the muscle implants done in my hometown, not with Dr. Windle circa 1996. I had nursed 2 children and gained and lost a substantial amount of weight with each. My born with boobs were what I called a 32A Long (lol). I had problems from the start with them and had capsular contracture. I had one side removed and replaced and just spent the next 10 years not very happy and in pain. I had a friend who had gone to Dr. Windle and her results had been AMAZING. I went to his office for a consult and felt optimist that he could help. He replaced my old saline 350s with cc tear drop shaped silicone over the muscle and I tell you what, they exceeded my expectations. Not only have I been pain free since healing since he removed the scar tissue but the look and feel so amazing!!! I love that he said that 650 would look great on my frame, something my previous doctor talked me out of, but he really is very talented. I wish I had before of the mess my old Frankentitties were but trust me, they were not something I showed off. I am 5'7, 165 pounds and 48 years old and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I would and do recommend Dr. Windle to every person I know thinking about surgery. My sister in law got skin removed and a breast lift/reduction and has been thrilled too. I feel sexy and confident and I have had so many people tell me they look and feel natural which they do. I couldn't be any happier!
I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Windle and his practice. If you're searching to get fillers, specifically Bellafill, then Dr. Windle is the one to turn to! He and Pam, the patient consultant, are both professional and personable. I love that they are communicative and nonjudgmental; all of the questions and concerns I raised were answered without making me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. Dr. Windle is clearly an expert. He helped me to achieve the desired look for my nose, which had a slight bump on the bridge. Not only do I have fantastic results but I also enjoyed the experience of working with Dr. Windle and Pam.
They are an amazing team. Always there when I needed I quick response. The non narcotics method was the most important part of my decision making in continuing the procedure. The concept of “motion is lotion” for a quick healing process, truly works. I highly recommend Dr. Windle and his team for excellent care and service!
I've wanted implants since I was young, and now I'm finally doing it! Here are my pre-op photos. I'm going with Sientra textured medium projection 250cc silicon implants. I chose a rapid recovery procedure, the implants will be above the muscle. Updated on 28 Aug 2020: Just wanted to provide more photos of what I looked like with the implants during the sizing. I actually had two sizings because I initially went a little bigger than I wanted to. These are all from the second sizing. Updated on 28 Aug 2020: Photos here. I’m going for something “full” but still want them to be more on the natural looking side. Updated on 1 Sep 2020: The surgery went well. I did have a little reaction to the anesthesia (nausea) but it went away quickly. Since I was still pretty numb most of the day my pain was very manageable. I had great range of motion, I could take off my clothes on my own and wipe my butt (lol). I took my hot shower and did my stretches every 30-45min after until bed. Even during the shower I gained a lot of range on motion back. When sitting still I hardly noticed any pain. I was even able to sleep on my side a bit! I took one Aleve when I got home and a second one before bed. Updated on 2 Sep 2020: I got up and took my hot shower and did the stretches. My right side was a lot tighter and a bit painful when trying to do the arm raises, but that went away throughout the day. I still can’t believe how good they look the day after. They definitely need to drop still but I thought the implants would start a lot higher up from looking at other photos. The pain just kept getting better and I was able to move more and more as time passed. I slept on my side all night long comfortably! Updated on 3 Sep 2020: I’m feeling great, breasts are slowly starting to soften and regain feeling. Super happy so far! Updated on 7 Sep 2020: My nipple pains have almost completely gone away. My right breast is a little more towards the side/my arm but other than that they look great for just 1 week! Updated on 13 Nov 2020: Things are healing nicely. They look and feel much more natural now.
I have been wanting a breast augmentation practically my entire life, but have always been too nervous. Dr. Windle and his assistant Pam both made the process easy to navigate and fun! I would recommend Dr. Windle to anyone thinking about getting implants. I am about 4 weeks post-op right now and IN LOVE! I got the Sientra gummy 350 cc moderate shaped implants, and they honestly look like natural breasts. The 24 hour rapid recovery is the best out of it all. I took Tylenol maybe 5 times ( he doesn't prescribe narcotics) and was moving around within the next few days.
Thank you for supplying great pictures to evaluate your question with. There is no question that you would be better served with liposuction. CoolSculpting would take many treatments to achieve less than optimal results in your case. Liposuction can be tailored toward your achieving your goals, in one surgery and the cost would be less than multiple CoolSculpting treatments. I hope that helps. Best regards
This is often confusing to patients but FMLA and insurance coverage for any procedure, including a breast reduction, are two different things. Healthcare insurance will pay for some or part of the operating room, anesthesia and surgeon fees as long as you meet your insurance carriers’ requirements for breast reduction surgery, which these days tends to be quite stringent. FMLA or the Family and Medical Leave Act is a law that provides certain employees with up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave per year. It also requires that their group health benefits be maintained during the leave. In other words, you would be eligible to have the time off, without pay as long as you qualify for FMLA and those rules are easily found on the US Department of labor site by typing “FMLA” in any search browser. Your surgeon simply needs to fill out the FMLA paperwork and your job would be secure for the time needed to recover. Since you will not be paid for this leave it is important to seek a surgeon who uses rapid recovery so that you can get back to work quickly after your breast reduction surgery. I have added a web reference and video that will help you with all of this. I hope this helps. Best regards.
Without knowing your cosmetic goals it is hard to give you exact recommendations but your photos do show the common aging features of your age group, namely lower lid and lower face volume loss with some neck laxity. Your nose is an excellent size and shape. To correct the lower lid volume loss, I have abandoned surgery for long term or 5 year plus, fillers and the results are outstanding without the cost and complications of implants or lower eyelid surgery like a blepharoplasty. The lower face and neck are easily dealt with using a rapid recovery, short scar lower facelift. I have added a video testimonial and a before and after web link for you to research all of this. I hope that helps. Best regards.
You have a condition called retrognathia in which your chin is small or set back and the skin of your neck recedes as a result giving you a double chin look. While two syringes of any filler will help, 2 cc of added volume is not very much and I have added a video that shows you just how little is in each syringe. In my experience at least 4 or 5 syringes are required to get any noticeable result. The best option for you would be a chin implant. This would bring your upper neck skin or under your chin skin out and give you the profile that you want and have edited on your photos. I have added a link to before and after photos of a patient with a similar problem to your s who had a chin implant placed. This is very simple operation and can be done under local anesthesia.
Yes. There is no reason to remove the capsules unless they are causing a problem. The capsules are simply scar tissue. Removal of breast implants without any other procedure is an operation that can easily be done under local anesthesia, making it very simple for you. I hope that helps.
