My temples have sunken (35+old) and am considering fillers for the temple areas. I’ve read some articles saying that temple injections are risky due to the blood vessels in that area, and the risks include blindness. I understand that unlike HA fillers, Sculptra cannot be dissolved, but in terms of potential risks, is Sculptra safer than the HA fillers? Also should Sculptra be injected deeply in the temple areas? Can a blunt cannular be used?

Sculptra is a collagen stimulator and also a filler, to be able to achieve a reversal I would recommend to look at PBSerum it's a product that is called collagenasa, that would break the new collagen whitin few sessions and I would definetly warranty you a success on what you are looking for!
If you're unhappy with your Sculptra results, 5/FU steroids in combination with Venus Legacy treatments can help give improvement. I would recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert to correct the overfill. Best, Dr. Emer
