I'm long overdue in expressing my appreciation for the positive experience I had with Dr. John Burroughs, his lovely wife and RN, Melissa, and the rest of the team at Springs Aesthetics. Dr. Burroughs and Melissa are impeccable in their work and truly care about their patients. They combine medical expertise and skill with an eye for aesthetic detail all while listening to client concerns and desires. After 60+ years of living and much of that spent outdoors in the sun, my skin needed a serious refresh! Dr. Burroughs recommended a series of fractionated laser resurfacing treatments. After addressing my questions and concerns (and there were many) as well as explaining what to expect pre and post procedure, I made my first appointment. Yes, I was nervous but felt confident in them. I received outstanding care over the course of my treatment plan - from the initial consultation, to the first laser procedure, to my most recent follow-up after my third laser procedure. Dr. Burroughs and Melissa make patient comfort a top priority too which I greatly appreciate as I'm a bit of a weenie. I truly felt known and cared for by the entire team at Springs Aesthetics and gladly recommend this practice to others.
Dr. Burroughs is an expert injector of fillers. Not only did he correct the asymmetry in my face from long-term residuals of Bells Palsy, his liquid rhinoplasty technique fixed several nose irregularities from two botched nose jobs. I haven’t looked this good in years—He gave me my confidence back and even had me crying tears of joy! Spectacular work. He’s an expert with the cannula injection technique—There was no pain. Highly recommended.
I joined the VIP program at Springs Aesthetics about 6 months ago and have been seeing my aesthetician, Stephanie for monthly Silk Peels & I have to say my skin has never looked or felt more amazing in my entire life! Even when I was a teenager I didn’t have acne but my skin never looked as glowing and smooth as it does today. The chemical peels truly are amazing in conjunction with my Skin regimen that I can use at home which consists of skinceuticals & Murad brands. Stephanie has given me a ton of tips on how to maintain my skin and keep it fresh and growing in between our appointments. I now wear hats when I’m going be out in the sun of course I wear sunscreen every day and I actually receive compliments almost every day on my skin or how youthful I look! I just turned 42 and it getting more compliments now on my skin than I did when I was in my 20s And 30s is really amazing! It feels really good to put my best face forward every day and I owe it all to Stephanie and Dr. Burroughs at Springs aesthetics! Once again everyone in the office is amazing Jennifer continues to be a complete rockstar, now the Lead of the entire front end of the office, and she continues to do an amazing job as always. Everyone there always makes me feel right at home I love going in and grabbing my Perrier water from the snack bar and getting my relaxing nurshing treatments with Stephanie every month. If you are thinking of getting a silk peel regimen started I highly recommend that you visit Springs aesthetics join their VIP program and treat yourself to an amazing experience and a brand new face with Stephanie or Melissa monthly!
I have come to consider this office as I would a trusted friend. The staff is very knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful for all of my questions and needs. I've had a chemical peel, Thermiva, cosmetic neck repair, and ear lobe repair. Each time, I was comfortable, well taken care of, and had zero concerns regarding the quality of work - I knew it would be amazing, and it was! I would go back to Dr. Burroughs and staff for any future needs. I know I'm in the best of hands when a need arises. Thanks to this office and the quality of work they provide.
I had surgery on both upper eyelids with Dr. Burroughs and the experience was great overall. I give him full marks for everything except wait time, which was extremely long at all visits. However, I am of the understanding that work is currently being done to improve this aspect of the experience. In all other respects, an excellent surgical experience and outcome.
I had a buried cyst removed by Dr. Burroughs, which was located between the eye and the bridge of the nose. At 65, I have had at least half a dozen surgeries done over the years for various reasons, and this was the first time that I had absolutely no post-op pain around the wound, which has healed beautifully. This was also the first time that the surgeon removed my stitches, which was done so quickly and unobtrusively that I never felt their removal. This contrasts with some of my previous surgeries where a nurse had inexpertly and painfully removed my stitches. I had a botched surgery once in my past, which has only increased my appreciation for the excellence of Dr. Burroughs' surgery. I recommend Dr. Burroughs without any reservations.
I have been going to Spring Aesthetics since October of 2017! I have been receiving the VIP treatment every month since! You cant beat the price of 99 a month for a peel of your choice and dermaplaning! I have never felt more youthful and the ladies at Dr Bs office are hands down the best in town!
I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Burroughs and his entire staff because they are always amazing! My entire life, I have enjoyed a very active & outdoorsy lifestyle. Boating, swimming, diving and other outdoor sports have taken a toll on my skin. I first looked into getting fillers for my tear troughs (for hallows) a few months ago and Dr. Burroughs had the best reviews online so I made my appointment. I want to first comment on the office “waiting area” which is similar to the makeup section at an upscale department store. They have TV’s playing informational videos on skin care, displays stocked with skinceuticals products and a chair and mirror for applications. They also have a snack and beverage bar if you are hungry/thirsty while you wait. I look forward to a Pierre water while I’m waiting! My first appointment, I had Belotero Filler placed under my eyes. Dr. Burroughs was very thoughtful and explained every step while he was applying the filler. Honestly, it did hurt more than I anticipated but the results were worth it. I also had Botox placed on my forehead and crows feet. My results were absolutely amazing. I left the office looking instantly 10 years younger. I have since joined the VIP program and receive monthly Silk Peels or facial of my choice along with microblading. Melissa is just fabulous and so are the other gals in the office. The front desk assistant, Jennifer is also a Rockstar! She promptly returns voicemails and is happy to assist me with scheduling my next appointment. I am 100% satisfied with all of my treatments and only wish I had found Dr. Burroughs sooner! My skin looks and feels amazing. It’s smooth with minimal wrinkles and my husband keeps commenting on how young and pretty I look.
I’m 27 and noticed I had forehead wrinkles beginning to show. Dr. Burroughs was a referral and I am so happy I went to see him. He truly knows what he’s doing, he and his staff are so friendly and knowledgeable- I couldn’t be more impressed. Every time I go in, they make sure I’m satisfied and happy. The clinic is so clean and welcoming! Definitely will be sending family and friends.
Professional and informative. Dr. Burroughs listened to my concerns and provided the results I was looking for! His staff are friendly and qualified. I booked a blepharoplasty after seeing his amazing before and afters and hearing him speak at a conference in Las Vegas.
We often will do skin resurfacing procedures in conjunction with lower eyelid surgery. This is most always recommended for at least the under eye area when I am doing any type of lower eyelid fat blepharoplasty, as it helps tightening the skin that has been compromised by fat herniation. One recovery tends to be easier for most patients and more affordable in the long run compared to multiple procedures, pre-ops, post-ops and so on. If you are considering skin resurfacing with a lower eyelid surgery and have the time for recovery I would say go for it! Best regards.
First and foremost this definitely looks like a burn. You should never have what we call "Track Marks" left behind on the skin from the passes. I don't know what kind of IPL machine they have as there are many different ones out there with different strengths. Also depending on the RF System they have it could have just been too much for your skin to handle in one service.I advise clients who have damage like this to resist the urge to pick at the skin and use anti inflammatory skin care products. We use SkinCeuticals so I can speak for those products with certainty and I would use Phyto Corrective Gel, Phyto Corrective Masque. I would recommend to stay out of the sun as well. if you are going to be out in the sun WEAR 50 SPF Zinc Oxide would be best as your skin is still recovering. I would also advise to not go in and get a second or third treatment till you are fully healed. Skin is very resilient and can heal it self fairly well however with Hypo pigmentation it can be a long recovery. Hope this gives some peace of mind and if you ever
Yes it is still an IPL Laser Service. With that being said you should always trust a professional to do these professional services. You should be wearing some sort of eye protection while using this as well as having anyone else in the room wear them and always remember to block mirrors as the beam of light can travel and bounce off the mirrors reflection.
As others have mentioned, there seems to be some residual submental fat that needs to be removed. I would recommend returning back to the physician who did your initial liposuction procedure. You may also have some scar tissue that will need to be addressed. These bands can be addressed with radio frequency. We offer Forma treatments here in our office and this can soften and even out those bands of scar tissue after the revision liposuction. Forma uses radio-frequency to remodel the subnormal layers of the skin. In Forma-facials this softens fine, lines and wrinkles but as a post surgical treatment has been a great tool to help reduce and soften subdermal tissue thickening by restructuring the deeper layers of tissue and stimulating collagen-synthesis. Best regards.
Yes, PRP can definitely be applied after a dermaplaning service and with the exfoliation that dermaplaning provides it will penetrate some. That being said, if it is applied after a slightly more invasive service such as microneedling then it will penetrate a lot better and you will see better results overall.
