Is Sculptra safe to use on the hips?

I want to round out my hip dips in order to get a more feminine figure and the only non surgical method I know of that can help me achieve this is sculptra. I’m just wondering if this is safe; I’m only asking because I noticed a lot of med spas do not offer this for the hip/ buttocks area.

Thank you for your question. Yes, Sculptra can be used to improve the shape of the buttocks. Keep in mind, the buttocks need numerous vials of Sculptra over time to build volume, and in some instances the results are subtle and will need to be combined with fat or implants to achieve desired results. Correction of the “hip dip” is a great are for Sculptra. 10-20 vials are needed and I always use cannulas for this to minimize pain and bruising. I usually do this over 2-3 sessions. I am one of the early injectors to do this and train others on this technique

We have been using Sculptra for hip and buttocks augmentation for more than 20 years in a safe and yet successful manner. Sculptra should be injected only by a plastic surgeon and at a medical facility, not at a spa. Unauthorized use by non-medical personnel can result in severe consequences or even death.
