It is difficult to tell from your photo if Kybella would be necessary. I suggest an in person consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. In our practice, we often combine Kybella and Ultherapy to treat submental fullness and laxity. If a patient has extra fat in the submental area, we typically inject Kybella first and then follow up in 6 weeks with Ulthera to tighten any remaining lax skin. We have had amazing results with treatment combination. Kyeblla + Ulthera is a great minimally invasive, non surgical approach to treating the neck area.Good Luck!
Thank you for your picture. Ultherapy would be an ideal nonsurgical option for you. The procedure can be performed on the lower face and neck and takes about and hour and a half. The results become visible over 3-4 months. As for the Kybella, its hard to tell whether you have fullness from fatty collection or just loose skin in your neck so an examination would be required.
Without an in-person 3D exam it's hard to say exactly which treatment would be best for you. Looking at the picture, it doesn't seem like you have much fat under the chin. So, Kybella wouldn't really be an appropriate first step. You would benefit from Ultherapy to help tighten and lift the loose skin. ThermiTight may be an even better option for you. Make sure you see an experienced provider who has multiple treatment options and can determine the best one for you after an evaluation. Best wishes.
Ultherapy would be an option for lifting the cheek area above the jawline for better definition. Kybella is used in the fat pad under the chin.
I use kybella on the jawline and often combine with venus legacy and/or ultherapy to get better results. The number one treatment for immediate results is VASER combined with ThermiRF in my practice. I suggest you see an expert in facial and body scultping. Best, Dr. Emer
