Tomorrow, it will be 2 weeks since I got Juvederm lip fillers and my top lip looks off and ducky, what can I do? (Photos)

Thanks for this question.Lips are commonly injected and when done well can look fantastic. We do many many lips per week. We never overdo them and always go with the mantra that less if more.It’s difficult to give a full answer to your question without knowing what you looked like before or what you discussed with your treating MD. Having said that I agree that your upper lip is too big in height and projection for your lower lip. The upper lip should be Phi ( golden ratio ) in height to your lower lip and should be wavy not like a sausage.You have the option to stay like this, as it will dissolve in six months or have some of it removed in the upper lip. The removal with Hyaluronidase is easy to do, may have to be done twice and is somewhat unpredictable.

I'm sorry you are unhappy with your Juvederm treatment.  At two weeks from injection you are seeing your final results.  You can return to your injector to have the product reversed with hyaluronidase if you wish.

In order to evaluate accurately, pre-procedure photos are needed. Also, we don't know the amount of product injected. From posted photos- it appears that you have some asymmetry. If you had HA  filler injected- it can be reversed and dissolved.

I agree with you about your upper lips look too full and ducky.  I would consider having some of the Juvederm dissolved by Vitrase and it will be less stiff and duck looking.  I would definitely return to your treating physician or injector to remedy it.  Please consult an expert in cosmetic lip injections for the best results.  Best, Dr. Green
