Dr. Weinberg started practicing in 1995.
I would give a Dr. Weinberg a 10 star rating if I could. I had botched breast reduction in London ontario. I ended up breasts that looked like they on 2 different people 1 nipple was to close to centre line of my body and looked like a D cup the Other breast had the nipple way to high and looked like a B cup. After consulting other Doctor's in London I was very frustrated they said I looked fine and there was nothing wrong with it Out of frustration, lack of self confidence, not being able to buy a proper fitting bra etc. I went on this website and found Dr. Weinberg. I traveled to Mississauga to meet with him. When he saw he could not believe the difference in them. He listened and knew what I was going through when bent over ( breast would fall out) knew I had to stuff the other side. After 2 fat transfers and moving the nipple to the correct location I could absolutely cry because I am do happy with the results. I may need a touch up later but it is all natural my own fat.
After having a botched breast reduction in London ontario. I sought out a different doctor to help reconstruct my breasts as London will not fix my breasts. Dr. WEINBERG is friendly, considerate, very knowledgeable and made me feel like I am in good hands. He explained that it take atleast 2 or 3 surgeries to fix my breasts. If you are trying to choose the right surgeon for you definitely talk to Dr. Weinberg.
My experience as a patient of Dr. Weinberg began a couple of months ago when I went to see him for assessment of what I thought was an innocent cosmetic lesion on my forehead. Dr. Weinberg's experience and expertise lead him to believe that this spot should be further examined. What initially looked like a benign growth turned out to be melanoma. Once I was explained my diagnosis, Dr. Weinberg pulled out his phone and immediately began emailing his colleagues and ordering all the necessary tests. He did all this while he was at the bedside, explaining the steps that he was taking to expedite my plan of care. Due to his swiftness and attention, the melanoma lesion was successfully removed and had not spread. I’m cancer free and owe Dr. Weinberg an immense gratitude as well as my life. I would highly recommend Dr. Weinberg as he is a very skilled, competent, and a truly caring doctor. There are no words that can express my gratitude to Dr. Weinberg and his team. Their level of care is exceptional, empathetic and exceeded all my expectations.
Lived in 5 countries and experienced many health professionals; I travel 40 minutes from Toronto to Mississauga to see Dr Michael Weinberg because his expertise, patient doctor communication and attention to detail is outstanding and exactly what every patient wants. Walking in to his offices you are greeted with genuine caring and consideration of the patient’s needs. A team that surpasses excellence on every level. Thank you Dr Weinberg and your professional brilliant team.
Dr. Weinberg did my tt and I am 6 weeks post op. I had an amazing experience and he did exactly what he said he would do. My follow up has been great and he has always been available when needed. Definitely will be using him for my next procedure!
I've been seeing Dr. Weinberg for over 5 years for filler and Botox injections and have always been very happy with the results. He never over injects and his goal is to make you look natural. He is also extremely honest about what would improve your look, but also won't do unnecessary treatment just for profit. At 62 I've been asking about a face lift and he explained to me why I wasn't ready for that yet. Not all surgeons would be that honest. Over the last 12 months I unfortunately have had two skin cancer spots on my face that required surgical removal. The largest one involved a skin graft on my cheek that I was upset about the scarring of. The second involved an incision above my lip. Both surgeries turned out extremely well and Dr. Weinberg's expertise ensured that both scars will be barely noticeable in time. I highly recommend Dr. Weinberg to anyone wanting cosmetic or surgical work done. He makes me laugh with his dry sense of humour and happily answers my annoying questions. Most of all, I trust him and his talent. The front office staff in this practice are extremely helpful and pleasant. That goes a long way when you are nervous about a procedure. As an aside, my girlfriend recently had a breast reduction and lift performed by Dr. Weinberg and she is extremely happy with the outcome. Dr. Weinberg took time to educate her on the procedure and make recommendations.
I literally tried a bunch of clinics before my last stop at Dr. Weinberg's clinic. A little unassuming and not jumping out like some of the other flashy clinics, I almost wrote it off. But, never judge a book by its cover as they say. It's hard not to in the GTA, we look for the IG likes and the hashtags, but when it comes to invasive life-altering surgery, there needs to be more than that. There needs to be a team of people behind you listening to your needs, providing you with key information to make decisions and understanding your hopes for yourself and for your health. Dr. Weinberg is incredibly skilled at what he does, the very best, but in addition to that he takes his time, he's funny when laughter is needed and is warm and patient when an anxious moment happens and he needs to explain things to you. I felt in good hands and with my first ever surgery and being under GA and doing something I would have NEVER dreamed I would or could do for myself, having confidence and trusting in my surgeon, the team was a huge leap and I'm glad I made it. The results are blowing my mind. The entire team is amazing, Dr. Weinberg still checks in weeks after surgery to make sure things are going well. I am incredibly impressed, satisfied, grateful and it was one of the best investments I have ever made.
I did my research before deciding to become a patient of Dr. Weinberg's a few years ago. I made the right choice. Dr. Weinberg is an excellent and caring doctor. For the last few years i've had botox and filler and am very pleased with the results. So pleased that my sister- who is more selective than i am- has become a patient of his also. His staff are lovely and professional. My treatments with Susane M. (aesthetician) were also very good. My face looks better now than it did when i was younger. The changes are subtle but perfect. Thank you Dr. Weinberg !! .
Hello ladies! It's been a while since I've posted any updates. My TT healing went very well, except that I (sadly) developed a pronounced hypertrophic scar, which I'm getting treatment for on a monthly basis with steroid injections. Other than the slightly unsightly scar, I'm very pleased with the results. Now I'm excited to share I will be getting a BA on Nov. 27 with same doc who did my TT last year. I'm so excited. I will post before/after pics of my journey. I'm expecting to get (silicone) 300 or 330 cc in my right breast and 330 or 360 or 375 in left one due to asymmetry (he will try what's best with sizers first during surgery) and they will be placed over the muscle. Total cost with tax will be just over $8K CDN. Wish me luck ladies!! And happy healing to those of you who've had recent surgery. Updated on 27 Nov 2019: Hi ladies. I’m Back home. Surgery was at 11 am. Everything went very well. I’m groggy and feeling good, other than nausea which hit me like a ton of bricks. Hoping gravol I took kicks in soon, I’ll update with pics once I feel better, Updated on 27 Nov 2019: So here are a couple pics of my implants, now just a few hours after my surgery today. I’m quite happy with size so far, which is Natrelle 330 medium profile on right and 375 on left because my breasts were asymmetrical to begin with. I know they I’ll change and drop over the next several weeks so I shouldn’t get used to how they look right now. I also had a bit of lipo done on my sides to correct a bit of bulge from TT last year. Believe it or not, the lipo is what’s giving me issues, one side hasn’t stopped bleeding. I barely have any pain or discomfort from BA. My throat also hurts, I’m guessing it’s from the tube they had in my throat during surgery, although I don’t remember having that issue after TT. The only other discomfort was extreme nausea in first few hours I was home but it’s pretty much subsided. I’m wearing a black surgical bra right now and must use it for 1-2 weeks. I don’t have to see my surgeon until 6 weeks P/O, barring healing goes well! All in all I had a good surgery experience. Dr. Weinberg and his staff are absolutely amazing, friendly and listened to and answered all my questions. If you live in the Greater Toronto Area, I highly recommend his practice. Anyway, take care my fellow BA champions!! Hope to hear from you all, and let me know what you think about my results this far. Updated on 27 Nov 2019: What a difference!! So happy to have boobs with volume after breastfeeding 3 kids! Had to rebuild my body at age 44 lol! By the way, my procedure was over the muscle. Updated on 29 Nov 2019: I wish I could say this BA is a breeze, especially since I went over the muscle, but it isn’t. Yesterday and today I’m in so much pain, I can barely move and I usually have high pain tolerance. No amount of pain meds is helping me. My right incision, which I can’t see because it’s bandaged, is hurting a lot and burning. I feel nothing significant on the left. I called my PS office and they told me to come in tomorrow (Saturday) if pain is still there. Really hoping this is the worst of the pain and it gets better from here. Trying to remain optimistic but it’s hard. Hope you BA ladies are all doing well. Happy Black Friday!! Updated on 30 Nov 2019: I’ve been experiencing debilitating, sharp, stabbing pain under my right breast by the incision since day 1. I went to see my surgeon today because of the pain and was told unfortunately it seems like a nerve was damaged. I’m so despondent because other than this severe pain, which I can’t escape from, my healing is going well otherwise. My incisions are actually healing nicely. I can’t stand straight or move around or do anything because of the severe pain. I’m basically motionless except to use the bathroom. No amount of prescription or OTC meds are working for nerve pain. If anyone has any suggestions, I’d surely welcome them at this point. My surgeon said only time will help since it has to heal. I’m either going to break down crying or go stir crazy. I keep thinking my TT last year was a breeze compared to this. Would love to hear from any of you ladies who may have experienced the same thing. I hope I don’t end up regretting getting these implants. Updated on 6 Dec 2019: Wow, my first week of recovery is not something I EVER want to experience again. After hearing and reading getting implants over the muscle (which my PS recommended) was going to be a breeze, I went into the surgery thinking it was going to be a piece of cake! But it was anything but after Day 1. Why it was so difficult a recovery is beyond me (and my surgeon), especially since I recovered easily from TT, c-sections and hysterectomy. Who knew the easiest surgery was going to be the hardest!! But I’m happy to report I’m over the worst and even back to work. Thought I’d post some updated pics to show my progress, which I’m very happy with. I still have soreness, especially in the morning and late evening, so take Advil when I can no longer tolerate it. Stiffness is still there too, can’t wait for them to soften and feel more like real boobs. Only other discomfort is very sensitive and sometimes painful, hard nipples but then I was having that issue the last few months as well, it’s just worse now (and annoying!). Anywho, I will post again in a week’s time. Enjoy your weekend ladies! Updated on 6 Dec 2019: Updated on 6 Dec 2019: Updated on 22 Dec 2019: Today marks 3 weeks and 4 days. I’m almost pain free now, except for occasional random shooting sensation or tingling. My nipples are sill sore but getting a little less sensitive day by day. I find I can’t sleep without a bra or I wake up in middle of night with very sore boobs! Anyone else have that and will that go away? I hate wearing a bra to bed. Good thing is I can mostly sleep on my sides! Yay!! My right boob has pretty much settled but I’m still concerned it’s too small compared to left, which has bigger implant (an extra 45 cc). I’m hoping when left settles (I sure hope it has more settling to do) that it will shrink a little. If you had different size implants, would love to know your experience and if you had to do a revision. Anyway, I’m off to do some last minute Christmas shopping. Enjoy your holidays ladies and all the best for the new year!! Updated on 16 Feb 2020: Hi everyone! Quick update to show what my beautiful new girls look like at almost 3 months. I went bra shopping in the last couple weeks and got sized at 2 places. I’m now a 32 DDD!! It’s funny because I don’t think they look that big, but I’m certainly not complaining lol. I think they’re the right size for my body, although for a brief period of time I did have boob envy. I’m pretty much pain free, except for occasional twinge or tingle. I still can’t sleep on my stomach, but am very comfortable in other positions. I have no complaints or regrets. I love how they look (with and WITHOUT a bra on!) and how they feel. And they are my BF’s favourite new toys - y’all ladies know what I mean Updated on 16 Feb 2020: Updated on 16 Feb 2020:
I was contemplating this surgery for the last 10 years and had tried 4 times to get it done. I had set appointments , had made down payments but my bad health got always in the way. This last February I finally made it and I am super happy I did. With 60 years of age it was time so I at least could enjoy the fruits of the pain and cost . I know Dr. Michael Weinberg for 18 years, he did my liposuction back then and I felt very confident and comfortable with him. It was like seeing an old friend again. And even though we had some hot discussions about what was doable and what wasn't, I always felt that he for sure the right person I wanted to do my surgery. He does not hold back on telling one as it is and what he things can be done and what might be too far out there. Having said that he absolutely outdid himself and I am thrilled with the result. I feel not like 60 anymore. The steroids which made me gain over and over again and "helped" to messed up my body more then age alone did not win. Thanks to the perfect surgeon I am so so happy I finally went through with it. Thank you Michael !! My life is now so much more enjoyable.
Based on the photograph, it would appear you have a single scar on the lower lip that is raised, but not discolored. It is possible injecting filler on either side of the raised scar might help conceal it. However, this is not always successful. There are other treatments that could be considered for raised scars-I would advise seeing a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon for an in person appointment so they can examine your lip and discuss options.
Yes, it is possible to reduce the prominence of the cupids bow when performing lip injections. However, it is not usually possible to eliminate it all together.
Whenever Lip injections are undertaken, the goal should be to achieve good proportion between the upper and lower lip. You do have quite a small upper lip relative to your lower lip. A small amount of filler in your upper lip might improve the proportion without changing the overall shape.
The commonest reason for a white appearance after filler injections is placement of the product too superficially ( ie too close to the skin’s surface), resulting in what is called a tyndall effect that is caused by the way light is reflected by the product. It can often take several repeat injections with hyaluronidase to get rid of the unwanted filler, which can be quite stubborn when it is located in the superficial layers of the skin.
So, it is often a misconception that filler “ migrates”. None of the hyaluronic acid fillers really move from the location they are initially placed. All hyaluronic acid fillers are “ hydrophilic”, meaning that water/moisture is attracted into the general area where they are placed and therefore there can be swelling in the vicinity. It may be that in your case filler was placed mostly in the central area of the lip in an attempt to achieve more of a pouty look. Over filling the centre can often give rise to “ duck lips”, where the lips stick forward too much, a look which many people hate. If width is what you are after, then yes, filler placed at the corners can sometimes achieve the appearance of a bit more width, and help the lips not disappear at the edges when you smile ( a common complaint). However, it is important to understand that lip filler injections cannot change the basic shape of your lips to a significant degree. Therefore, it is not possible to give you a celebrity’s lip shape. There is no one filler product I recommend. Different products may vary in terms of their feel as well as their look. Many do a good job. Both Juvederm Volbella, and Belotero Lips are lovely lip products with a natural feel and look.
