I had Xeomen injections in my forehead, and around my eyes. It’s has been 36 hours and I have hard bumps at each injection site. It reminds me of a ant bite without the itching. Should I be concerned?
Answer: Lumps after Xeomin/Botox/Dysport--Results Take 1-2 weeks It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. Xeomin results take up to 1-2 weeks and you may have swelling which will gradually resolve. Xeomin results last up to 3-4 months in new areas of treatment. See an expert. Dr. Emer

Answer: Injection site bumps Thanks for your question and the photo you provided. These bumps should continue to resolve in the next couple days. Be sure you follow up with your injector and let them know you are having lingering bumps. Good luck

Answer: Usually small bumps straight after being injected is normal Usually small bumps straight after being injected is normal. It is due to the higher volume of fluid being injected under the surface of the skin which creates a small bump, or some swelling from the injection. If you have concerns I would recommend going back to the injector you saw for a review appointment as these seem bigger than normal. Warm Regards, Dr Glenn Murray, Absolute Cosmetic Medicine

Answer: Persistent bumps after injection Thanks for your question and photo. I would definitely either go in and see your injector or send them a photo of this. It is not common for the small bumps to last more that a few minutes, although once in awhile, someone can get a bruise and swelling from nicking a blood vessel under the skin while injecting, and that can cause a little lump that lasts as long as the bruise. I would be curious to see what dilution they mixed the Xeomin with, and if this is something that happens often at your clinic, as it is not something I personally have seen from any of the neurotoxins after a few minutes post injection. Best of luck!

Answer: Bumps Hello there, This seems very abnormal to me. Typically these bumps are absorbed within minutes of the procedure, and any bumps left would be a result of bruising. It does not mean that it is dangerous or harmful, but does seem to be some type of reaction to the injections. I would definitely contact your provider in regards to this. Hope this helps.
