10 units of Xeomin for 11s 3 days ago, no change

For my first time getting Xeomin (or any neurotoxin), I opted for a very conservative number and just for one area of my face--my 11's. I had 10 units injected over 72 hours ago. I'm not noticing any restricted movement or change for that matter. Is it possible it may still work or was 10 units too little? I am 29 and don't have deep wrinkles--just a single 11 line that bugs me.

If you are resistant to both Botox & Dysport, unfortunately, chances are you are most likely resistant to Xeomin also. I hope that helps. Good luck!

It is too soon to be worried about not seeing any results.  Xeomin injections usually start to take effect 5-7 days after treatment, and will reach their maximum effect around day 10.  I would wait at least 10 days to see your final results.  I always recommend speaking with the doctor who perf...

Some people need higher doses are to try a different product. I suggest trying dysport. There is no reason why some people respond better than others.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Both Xeomin and Botox are purified proteins used to decrease muscular movement of the upper facial muscles..Botox has been used on the very young and old for a host of problems.  There mode of action is similar so patients can use either.

Thank you for your question.  You can start to see results from Xeomin, Dysport and Botox 2-10 days after injection.  Our office has you follow up in 2 weeks to see the final result and tweak the treatment if needed!
