I had Xeomin around my eyes and forehead 1 month ago and the effects are already wearing off...prior to that it lasted 2 months and Botox lasted 2 weeks. It's my 2nd time using Xeomin and I only used Botox once. I had Juvederm twice on my smile lines and it looked great for 2 weeks and after that you couldn't even tell I had it done. I had 2 syringes of Juvederm on my lips and they lasted about 5 months. What could be the cause of this?
Answer: Botox / Dysport / Xeomin Not Lasting Some people need higher doses are to try a different product. I suggest trying dysport. There is no reason why some people respond better than others. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Xeomin, Botox and Juvederm don't last on me. Why is that? Everyone's metabolism is different, so it is possible to see the results of your Xeomin or Botox injections wear off sooner than others. Results from these treatments are visible within 3-7 days with results that can last anywhere from 3-4 months. You could us a different neuromodulator and see if the results last longer. Juvederm in the lips only lasts about 6 months, so your time frame on that is normal. Follow up with your injector for your options.

Answer: Results from Botox and Xeomin Everyone's metabolism is different, so it is possible to see the results of your Xeomin or Botox injections wear off sooner than others. Usually, results last between 3 and 4 months. I suggest trying a different neuromodulator and see if the results last as long or are shorter in duration. I also suggest having these injections done by a board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can keep an accurate record of the product and number of units injected.

People have different types of metabolism and are able to remove Juvederm and Botox quickly. Also a German paper from 2013 suggested that about one in 200 people will form antibiodies to the Botox. You maybe one of those individuals. Please speak with your physician regarding this. Thanks for the interesting question. Have a great day. Dr. John M. Clair.
