I just recently gained a lot of weight (about 12-15 lbs) after moving. I'm 5'2", and have the sort of frame on which a 2 lb gain looks more like 5 pounds. I also have a tendency to store fat below the waist, and it will not come off unless I starve and exercise almost every other day. I've tried almost everything, as a petite woman the only thing that works is rigorous dieting combined with steady cardio. Even then there is still a thick layer of fat that makes me unhappy.I'd like to lose about one and a half to two inches off my thighs. I already underwent a liposuction to remove saddlebags & had my inner thighs and inner knees done. Right now because of the weight gain, I have a lot of fat below the waist and above the knee (left thigh and buttock more fatty than the right). I am going to be very busy, and I don't want to start this new chapter in my life with this fat.Was very slim before & these pics are w/ a thick layer of fat on my thighs & buttocks. I gained weight due to life issues, no problem w/ losing weight - just the fat. I know how to eat healthy & aim to get into shape again after lipo.

Answer: I recently gained a lot of weight. I was wondering if I should get a circumferential liposuction & Thermage?
Slow healing of certain areas is common after any surgery. You should however discuss this with your surgeon.Continued drainage may indicate a local infection that needs additional care.Be sure when you clean/sanitize that you follow your surgeon's instructions - many 'sanitizers' will irritate...
Your surgeon probably didn't recommend a garment because it is almost impossible to get good compression in this area. At 5 weeks, you are still swollen. You should discuss your results with your surgeon but expect to wait 6 months from surgery before having any revision. Best wishes.
