If the difference between your arms is very significant I would recommend that you check with your plastic surgeon and be evaluated by him. It is not uncommon for swelling to be more on one side or arm than the other. If you had no drains placed this could possibly be a hematoma. I don't really see the advantage of gaining weight to enhance the benefits of liposuction. If excess fat exists at your present weight That would be improved by liposuction I see no reason not to proceed.
