The breast does extend into the armpit, and sometimes that extension can be excessive in volume. Liposuction might improve the situation but usually direct excision is needed.

I consider removal of Axillary Breast Tissue a reconstructive problem.  This should be covered by health insurance.  I would suggest seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who can perform a physical exam.  If it is breast tissue, then a letter with photos to your insurance company for pre-authorization could be done.

The axillary breast tissue can be excised along with some overlying skin. This should ultimately leave a very minimal scar. I could not see any excess fatty tissue otherwise. It would be important that you discuss this with your plastic surgeon when you have a face-to-face meeting. It may be that some liposuction

It is probable that you have breast tissue on both sides, the procedure is easy, fat, gland and some amount of skin is removed at the same time, and the incision is barely noticeable once it's healed up. Cost vares greatly depending on surgeon and location. Good Luck!
