Dr. Marcus has a very kind demeanor and is very informative with all the questions I had. His office staff was wonderful and supportive, too. My results are magnificent!! Near perfect! I highly recommend Dr. Marcus for any cosmetic procedure that you may be interested in having. You will love the results!
Nicki is doing Venus Viva tx for me and she is fabulous. After second one, she was right, be patient. Voila, my skin is 100% improved. She knows everything about skin, shares her expertise, is professional and charming at the same time.
I’m so obsessed with my breasts! Fat transfer isn’t Dr Marcus’ favorite thing to do...and I am so grateful he agreed to work with me. I needed the full TT. And it just so happened he wanted to do a 2-Step lipo/TT process. Which worked out for fat transfer with a secondary transfer...which is very common in fat grafting surgeries for optimal results. My breasts were a full D on the left with a C/D on the right. I just wanted a little fluffing with more symmetry. I certainly did not want implants. I think I’m a little conservative or old school in appreciating natural sag and natural shaped breasts. I didn’t need a lift...so fat grafting worked for me in the bigger picture. I did consult with 2 other doctors. One would only do a lift with transplant and TT — all in one shot. And another would transfer the fat but send me elsewhere for the TT. Dr Marcus was able to “see” my vision. In March...Dr M transferred 100cc into my left breast and 125cc into my right breast. I’d say I probably had 60-70% retention. I was very careful to not work out vigorously...and ate an “okay” diet. Full fat, lower carbs....I didn’t want to lose weight but didn’t want to gain any, either. After about 3 months my breasts settled. There were some lumps close to injection sites that eventually smoothed out. I didn’t massage or do anything to really put pressure on my chest. I was very happy with results...however, I still did need more in my right breast. Retention in my left breast seems better. Which is annoying...really...my right breast just doesn’t want to hold any fat. In nature or with the help of grafting. Fast forward to September...doc was ready for the full TT...so my second pass at fat graft happened! I asked doc to go 70% of total fat into right breast and 30% into left. I am just soooooo happy with them :) the shape is my natural breast. You can see that my breasts have come down quite a bit since day one. Which is TOTALLY FINE. They were beautiful...they still are. I’m hoping They stay with me......I’m really happy though.
I decided to give coolsculpting a try after 4 years of not being able to get rid of my stubborn baby belly. 1 was 115 lbs prior to having my son and am now weighing in at 135. Had my 1st treatment yesterday on my abdomen (2 large - one on the lower/upper). Not painful at all during the procedure, just a little awkward. So far, just numb and a tad swollen.. we'll see what the next few days bring. Updated on 26 May 2017: Interesting things experienced: * Numb and tingly (really hoping this doesn't mean that infamous nerve pain is on it's way..) * Peeing all the time.. Like every 2 hours. * Just a tad sore. * Very swollen. I realize now that this is not the same as feeling bloated/filled with air. No, this - this is different. Skin feels tight, hard, and still frozen in a way, but jiggles like it's got a life of its own. Very strange and kind of confusing? Updated on 28 May 2017: I was a little nervous about day 5 seeing as this is when most folks start experiencing the infamous nerve pain. But here I am on day 5 and have yet to experience anything too crazy. Aside from an occasional MILD stinging sensation around my bellybutton, things are feeling good! Bought some arnica gel just in case things decide to take a turn for the worse. A little bruising above my bellybutton, but it looks to be fading already. Still swollen (although not nearly as much as the 1st few days) and pretty numb, I no longer have any hesitation or doubt about going in for my flanks thus Friday. Yay! Updated on 1 Jun 2017: So, made it through the 1st week relatively unscathed. A little bit more of the wonky nerve stuff, but not nearly as painful (in fact, not painful at all) as the sensations some have described during the 1st few days. If anything, the things I'm feeling are more on the bizarre end of the spectrum. For instance, my belly seems to "thaw"/not feel so numb, and then goes back to feeling almost as numb as the day after in a matter of hours. And then there's the jiggling... This is probably the most unsettling side effect thus far because I worry that i may have ruined my tummy for good. I know this is likely not the case, but It seems like any time I make the slightest move, my once firm pudge, now rolling bowl of jelly, bobbles and bounces all over town! Sucks to be so hyperaware and now even more self conscious about the thing that I've been trying to get rid of for so long. I bought a few more pairs of spanx with extra firm compression and though they take away the jiggles, I hate feeling like an over-stuffed sausage constantly having to adjust its casing under the desk at work. Super uncomfortable. I'm going in for a session on my flanks tomorrow and if those go all wobbly on me too, I'll just be one sad girl with a funny tummy made of jelly or (loose skin?? Can that happen?). I really hope this part ends soon :/ Anyhoo, I posted some pics. The weird thing is, I feel like things are starting to slim out (I'm sure it's just the swelling going down). Let me know what you think. Updated on 22 Jun 2017: Finally got my before pictures from the Dr.'s and... I think I'm seeing results?! Not really noticing a difference in the way my clothes fit, but i think this might be because my left flank is still recovering (had one medium session on just the one about 2 weeks ago). Hoping it just gets better... still trying to decide on whether another round for the tummy would be worth it..
Dr Marcus and his entire staff, from the ladies at the front desk, his lovely assistant Ashley, to his amazing anesthesiologist are all such a wonderful people I felt so safe and well taken care of. I am a little bit out of the area and they have been so accommodating. They have made me feel so well cared for, I would recommend them to anyone. I am 10 weeks post op and I love my results I couldn't be happier!
I just want to thank Dr. David Marcus for his fabulous job. Although, he was the first person I saw for my BA consultation, I knew he was the one. I felt very comfortable with him. I cannot be any happier with the results and it has only been two weeks since the surgery. Everyone kept telling me how painful it was going to be but I was up and running on 3 days after surgery. My recovery has been painless and very smooth. Thank you Dr. David Marcus
I am a 59 year old mother who nursed each of her children for over two years . I had my reduction and lower abdomen lipo Monday . I am so far thrilled with my immediate results , Mostly on the reduction . The pain was not bad at all , surprisingly.. And I only took the narcotics 4 days tapering after 3. There is some bruising but again not horrible . I should have done it a long time ago but was worried about the pain . So my advice is go for it ! I don't have a before photo handy but I was a 36dd With very elongated , sagging heavy beasts . I think I will end up a c cup . The lipo was lower ab .. Looks so much better already ! Sutures out this Monday . I feel so happy . The lipo is actually more painful than the breast surgery ! Go figure !
Dr. Marcus meticulously replaced old saline implants with Mentor silicone gel implants. Scared tissue was removed to reduce the volume which was created at the top of the implant. This aided in obtaining more symmetry. The entire staff made me feel secure and confident from my initial consultation to the personal phone call I received from Dr. Marcus the day after surgery.
I choose dr. Marcus because my aunt had a tummy tuck done by him which turned out amazing, after researching him a little more I loved his before and afters of breast augmentations specifically. I'm 5'5" 125 lbs. We agreed on silicon 495cc's smooth round HP Senetra implants inserted submuscularly through an inflammatory approach, with general anesthesia. Scaring was minimal, also I have a under breast chest piece (tattoo) that was carefully stitched back together which I much appreciated. Recovery was fairly quick moderate pain for 3 days afterwards, 1 week until I was back at work (bartending) and 3 weeks before I went back to the gym. At first my implants seemed very high, but once they dropped formed a perfect tear drop shape, I absolutely love them!
I am 27 years old with two boy 26months apart, but breastfed for about a year each. My weight has fluctuated greatly since high school and when I was my heaviest my breast were a 34F. After losing some weight they were down in the 34DDD range. When I quit bf my last son, and then lost 15lb my breast were a saggy 36c 34 deflated d. My dr said I needed a full anchor lift and that he would great as big of implants as he could in. We ended with 400cc on the right and 425cc on the left. I'm only 3 days post op and I love them so far but am a little disappointed on the size. They are a big smaller that I had hoped. Pain wise everything is fantastic, I took the Percocet the first day because everyone said to stay on top on them, but I went all night without them and woke up with pretty much no pain. No I'm just sticking with Valium and ibuprofen twice a day and it's going great! Updated on 16 Nov 2015: It's crazy to me how little pain I am having. I drove my son to school this morning and had a few other errands to run. I mainly just feel tired, no pain in my breasts at all. I feel like my bra may not be right enough? So I put another on over it. Updated on 22 Nov 2015: It amazes me how normal I feel. I'm so ready to start working out again. I don't know why, but I feel so fluffy, I thought bigger boobies would make me feel so much thinner, but not the case right now. Loving my breast, I really wanted the fake look, but my ps told me it wouldn't be possible unless we went way big with saline. So I'm looking pretty natural and I have to say, it's not hurting my feelings! The only thing is he couldn't totally "cut" or "relax" (I don't know the correct term) my muscles on one of the breasts so it looks a little flat in the middle. Updated on 24 Nov 2015: Man I have been looking at pictures for months so I thought I was going to be so prepared for how my nipples and scars would look, but it is still so hard to see myself like this. I am healing incredibly well, so that's nice. But I just don't love the way they look right now. And I know I am only 12 days out and have a long road ahead of me, so I just keep reminding myself that. The tape has been off since yesterday so I'm already getting more used to them. Updated on 27 Nov 2015: 15 days post op and removed my last bit of tape from the bottom of my breast, I am amazed at how fast my incisions are healing. They are still a little itchy and tender where my drains were but other than that I am super happy. Both of my breasts look a little Square at the bottom, and it is really bothering me. Just hoping that it rounds out as my implants drop more? I tried on a dress today at a boutique and the cashier said "I want your boobs"! That made me feel really good because I feel like they are at a very weird stage right now Updated on 3 Dec 2015: Just wanted to add a few more pics, I'm really seeing a change in the look and the feel. They totally jiggle and look real. I thought that was going to make me sad (I really wanted that fake look) but I'm super happy with them. I do still wish they were a bit bigger, but it is what it is. Updated on 9 Dec 2015: I'm coming up on 4 weeks post op and the last few days have been a breeze! They are tender randomly throughout the day, but I feel like I should be back in the gym already. I have totally let myself go since surgery :/ still no feeling in my nipples ( PS said it could take up to 18 months) so I'm not to concerned about it. Updated on 9 Dec 2015: Updated on 10 Dec 2015: I was thinking about starting my scar treatment soon, I bought the silicone scar stick and I was going to get some silicone scar sheets in a few weeks. Updated on 12 Dec 2015: Updated on 19 Dec 2015: I started sleeping on my stomach the last couple of days, I wake up with a little pain in my bottom incision but other than that, feeling really good! I rejected one stitch so far, and I had another opening a few days later right next to it. I'm so happy I read about people spitting stitches, because I would have literally thought I had a worm coming out of my nipple! It was so creepy looking :/ Updated on 22 Dec 2015: I can't believe how much they've dropped and changed in the last couple of days. My old bra that didn't fit a few weeks ago, fits perfectly now. The little imperfections that were bothering me before are hardly noticeable now. Now I just have to lose these few pounds I've gained and I'll be totally set!!
Your photos do not allow an answer to the question of tuberous or not. However, it would appear that you have high inframammary folds and therefore an exaggerated appearance of drooping or ptosis. You may well benefit from a lift alone. A lift will achieve the proper relationships of the nipples to your breast mounds and folds. An implant may be useful if you are looking to be larger or have more upper pole fullness. Good luck.
Inner knees respond well to liposuction. In your case there is very little fat excess. That makes liposuction more risky. There is a higher risk of irregularities post op. I would suggest you consider going to an expert in liposuction in your area.
All of these suggestions are excellent. I think it is important for you to consider a more cohesive gel next time. Not necessarily a textured shaped implant, but a highly cohesive smooth round. Good luck.
As already suggested, use of new implants would be a good idea. In my experience, contractures happen most commonly in patients with IUD's in place. If you have one in, you might consider removing it before undergoing another contracture procedure. Although controversial, my personal statistics related to contractures and IUD's are undeniable. In my opinion, It has to do with the fact that biofilm forming bacteria are also commonly found on the tail of IUDs. Of course, if concerned, please make sure you have an alternative birth control method available.
Do the the fact that your scars are symptomatic, I would strongly suggest you see your doctor about treatments. You can experience great relief in single visit. Good luck.
