i am considering lipo on my back, flanks and abdomen. i saw a doctor i really like but for the back lipo he doing incertions on the center on my back. like were the strap bras will be. is this comment? for some reason i thought the incertions were on the sides like under your arms.

Answer: Liposuction and back incisions The incisions for back liposuction will vary from surgeon to surgeon. I can often do the lower back/flanks from several low approaches, but the upper back rolls need to be treated form a closer access incision, and this can vary in location.

Answer: Incisions for back liposuction Remember that the incisions need to be centrally located with respect to the fat to be liposuctioned. It would be impossible to reach the mid-back effectively from incisions placed on the sides of your torso. Also keep in mind that liposuction incisions are very small and should go on to fade out by one year post op.
