At 8 days, it is not unusual to see this type of issue after Cool Sculpting and Cool Mini. Much of this will likely resolve in the coming weeks to months to give you an improved neck contour. I would recommend you touch base with your Coolsculpting specialist to ensure that there is nothing else to worry about. Happy healing!
Thank you for your question. Swelling and soreness following a CoolSculpting procedure is quite normal and can take a few weeks. Best of luck.
Hello,Thank you for your question. At this point you are probably experiencing swelling. This should subside in a week or two. If it doesn't, and you are still concerned please reach out to your physician. Good luck!
Most patients have very little swelling or redness after Cool Mini but it is not uncommon or worrisome if you do experience swelling under the chin for even a few weeks. Some patients find compression helpful to alleviate this more quickly. Follow up with the provider that performed your procedure to have them examine the area and determine if something else may helpful for your recovery. Best of luck!
Thank you for the question. Swelling or bruising in areas treated with CoolSculpting does occur and can be normal. This should subside and in the coming weeks and months you'll see your modest improvement. Do followup with your doctor because in very rare cases this fullness persists and requires further treatment. All that being said, yes, probably normal at the moment but see your doctor for a follow up.Chase Lay MD
It does take time for swelling to go away. You can expect the skin to tighten up somewhat as well. Be patient and reasess weekly. You should see improvement at 3-4 weeks that will continue to improve. Second treatments can be done as early as day 30 but I often wait for 8 weeks.

There can be some swelling after a CoolSculpting procedure that may make it appear as if the area is larger. Give it some time to subside and for results to be seen.

CoolSculpting will not make your skin any more lax than it is currently. In fact, often times patients experience some skin tightening in the months following their treatment. However, it is important to note that if you have significant skin laxity before CoolSculpting,...
At 4 weeks out from Cool Mini treatment, I would not necessarily relate the abnormal lab results and the fat freezing session. This is particularly true for Coolsculpting of just the neck region. Although the sed rate and C reactive protein may reflect an inflammatory reaction, which does occur...
Hello,Thank you for your question. CoolMini can be applied in that area, under the right circumstances. You need to have a long enough jaw line, and enough fat. Please consult with your physician to determine if you are the right candidate. Good luck!
From your photos, your skin laxity may be contributing to the lack of perceived effect. Hopefully you have noticed the fat thickness underneath the skin has diminished, but if the skin is still loose, you may require additional skin tightening with something like Ultherapy to help lift the skin.
Hello sambell5, In rare cases, Paradoxial Adipose Hyperplasia (PAH) can occur. There is no way to guarantee what your reaction to the treatment will be. There have been millions of cycles completed world-wide, with very few reports of PAH, the most common being in the abdomen. It is important ...
