Can CoolMini CoolSculpting be used on the side of the neck as well?

Yes you can use cool mini on the side of the neck if your anatomy dictates this.   Be sure to go to an experienced Cool sculpting practice a proper assessment is done.   Planning for coolsculpting is a lot like planning for a surgical procedure.  Good luck!

If there is a lot of centralized submental tissue and the jawline is not well defined, I debulk by doing a singular treatment in the center and then one one each side under the chin. This reduces the initial volume of fat under the chin and the second treatment helps contour the face and define the jawline.

I usually overlap the applicators to treat the side of the neck/underneath the jawline. Usually 2 treatments suffice. Sometimes, I go back with some kybella to fine tune further, if needed. 

The Cool mini can be used on the lateral neck for unwanted fat.  Two of the Coolminis are slightly overlapped, treating a broader area than one alone. The procedure is typically repeated in 6 weeks.  I hope this helps.  Lana Long, MD

Yes! We have gotten great results with lateral placement. Of course you will need to be measured by a medical professional to verify that there is enough fat for the applicator to fit. Good luck!

The CoolMini is one of the many different sized and shaped applicators used to customized your CoolSculpting procedure.  As long as there is adequate fat in an area and one of the applicators fits the space well, that area can be treated.  The consultation process is very important because the applicators can be fitted to your body and an effective plan outlined.  This can certainly include areas of excess fat on knees, chin, and elsewhere.
