Can CoolSculpting 2 weeks ago under the chin impact bloodwork?

I had bloodwork done in the ER (unrelated to coolsculpting) 4 weeks post treatment for chin (1 application) Bloodwork shows elevated C-reactive protein, elevated sed rate, high LDH as well as high protein, low neutrophils and high lymphocytes. They sent me to an oncologist who wants to do a bone marrow biopsy. Could the Coolsculpting have caused these abnormal results?

At 4 weeks out from Cool Mini treatment, I would not necessarily relate the abnormal lab results and the fat freezing session. This is particularly true for Coolsculpting of just the neck region. Although the sed rate and C reactive protein may reflect an inflammatory reaction, which does occur with fat freezing, it is not likely the result of Cool Mini. Your oncologist should help guide you through this process and come up with a true diagnostic impression.

One application of coolsculpting for chin should not affect the blood work specially the LDL and Protein level. C-reactive protein and sed rate are inflammatory markers and are very non specific but 4 weeks after treatment is outside the window. One simple way is to repeat the test and see which way its trending but overall unlikely to be coolsculpting related.
