Uneven breasts 15 months post-op - should I get a second opinion? (photos)

I"m 15 months post op and my breasts are still uneven. The surgeon initially told me that he tried placing a larger implant in but they became uneven the opposite way. Now he is saying he can fix it by placing a larger implant in, but I would have to pay for another surgery. Now I don't trust him; should I get a second opinion? The left one did have a hematoma that he sent me away with for a month (even though it was obvious).

Hello, Bottoming out after breast augmentation can be fixed with a capsulorrhaphy (it will repair the implant malposition). You can keep the same implants. Best of luck, Randal Haworth

It does appear that your implants have migrated slightly lower, resulting in pseudoptosis and "bottoming out" to a slight degree. It does not look terribly unnatural as many women, especially those who have breastfed, will develop a natural pseudoptosis over time. Whether or not you get it fixed...

I think an internal bra is a good idea to restore support to the implants. I would use Galaflex mesh over acellular dermal matrix in your case. Going larger will add more weight and will make it more difficult to hold the implants up over the long term.

Bottoming out occurs because the weight of the implant stretches the skin and the skin in unable to hold the load. Going up to 485 cc implants, you are increasing the load and the situation will be even worse. You need to reconsider the size or consider fat transfer as an alternative. Best...
