Hi sunkiss, I don't see any problem at all with you having a mastopexy and a labiaplasty at the same time.Depending on your doctor's practice, you can probably do the labiaplasty in his/her office and have the mastopexy performed in the operating room. There should not be a problem with any waiting period between the 2 procedures as well.Congrats on being a new MOM !Best Wishes,Dr. Christine Rodgers
Mastopexy and labiaplasty can be performed at the same time, however it ultimately depends on the opinion of your surgeon as they’re more familiar with your situation. They may recommend having the procedures performed at different times.
Absolutely ! Biggest advantage is the recovery period for both procedures. Combining two to three procedures during the same operation is generally safe for the average person.
Congratulations! It is absolutely safe to have a labiaplasty and a mastopexy at the same time. Some benefits of doing procedures together are having one recovery time and potentially saving some cost on facility fees. I would recommend consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can go through the risks and benefits of each procedure with you so that ultimately you can make a decision that feels best for you.
Yes, a labiaplasty (surgical alteration of the labia) and mastopexy (breast lift) can be combined into a single surgical procedure, if both are deemed appropriate for your needs and if your surgeon determines it is safe to do so. Combining procedures can have the advantage of reducing overall recovery time and potentially decreasing costs compared to having the surgeries done separately. However, the decision to combine these procedures should be made after thorough consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Factors that will be considered include your overall health, the specific procedures involved, the extent of surgery required, and your surgeon's expertise. It's important to note that individual cases vary, and not everyone is a suitable candidate for combined surgeries. Your surgeon will assess your unique situation, discuss your goals, and provide recommendations based on their professional judgment. If you have concerns or are unsure about the best approach for your specific case, consider scheduling consultations with experienced plastic surgeons. They can provide a comprehensive evaluation and help you make informed decisions regarding the timing and combination of these procedures based on your individual needs and circumstances.
In our Practice we do often perform these procedures at the same time. I suggest that you seek an experienced Board Certified PS and discuss your options during your consultation
While surgeons have different recommendations, it is not uncommon to have both procedures performed at the same time. This will save you recovery time as well as surgical fees.An in person or virtual consultation with a breast lift specialist will provide you an accurate recommendation and pricing. Thanks for your question. I see no reason not to do these at the same time. No need to have more than one anesthetic and there is no anatomic or medical reason they can not be combined. Good luck !!
Hello! Thanks for your question. Both procedures are possible to do at same time. Safe surgeries are less than 6-7 hours, mastopexy and labiaplasty takes around 4 hours or less.
Thank you for your question regarding combining procedures into one surgery! In my practice, it is very common to combine multiple procedures into one surgery. This will decrease the overall downtime a patient experiences as well as decrease the overall cost for the patient.A labiaplasty and mastopexy are able to be performed at the same time!
Yes , generally two or more operations can be combined if done in a safe anaesthetic time. It reduces number of anaesthesia and healing times are nearly the same. Labiplasty can be easily combined with a mastopexy procedure with good results.
Thank you for your question. You can definitely get a Mommy makeover with hyperthyroidism as long as you are medically cleared by your GP. Please make sure you mention your medical history to your plastic surgeon in detail. Best of luck to you
I would recommend achieving a steady state for 3-6 months prior to proceeding with surgery. Based on your pictures I do not know what your concerns are. With massive weight loss the common concerns become excess skin and deflation of breast tissue. You would need to reposition your breasts in...
You could stage the procedures and have the tummy tuck done first; then the liposuction and BBL. However, the result will not be as tight as liposuction and BBL first and then tummy tuck. Both can be performed at the same time, but the upper abdomen cannot be aggressively liposuctioned at the...
