I had my breast augmentation with a crescent lift in 2014. As you can see in the pictures, I was left with a weird left breast and odd looking nipples. The previous surgeon wanted me to pay a whole new procedure cost to fix them, but due to this look, you can see why I didn't want to risk thousands of dollars again. My left breast dimples when i reach up. Can I get a lollipop lift instead of an anchor lift? What is needed to have nice looking breasts again?Implants are under the muscle.
Answer: Mini lift Your breasts are asymmetrical in volume, shape and position. One breast seems to be distorted by muscle contracture. The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, the implants can be placed higher. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: 8 years post breast aug, under muscle. Would I benefit from a lollipop lift? what can I do to achieve a nicer look? Your photos suggest your appearance can be improved with a more complete lift, e.g. a "lollipop." During a consultation your implants can be evaluated for possible correction or improvement of the "dimpling."

Answer: Breast lift after breast augmentation Gravity and weight of breast tissue/implants causes breast to sag with time. Breast lifts often can be performed vertically when an implant is present. If extensive skin laxity after pregnancy or massive weight loss, then an anchor is often used for breast lift with augmentation. Breast implants placed under the muscle may pull with animation or exercise, this may not improve with a breast lift alone.

Answer: Breast lift Dear Bechy2000, my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Breast lift You can be converted to a lollipop lift. Crescent lifts are notorious for poor results. However the lollipop lift typically costs far more than the crescent lift. It also appears you will need different size implants. Due to your asymmetry yours is not a simple case so make sure you go to somebody experienced with lollipop lifts.
