When lipo takes place the Doctor will extract fat, however, there are no guarantees for the skin to go back to its original form. When a tummy tuck takes place the Doctor cuts the excess of skin, and repairs the muscles giving the patient a much flatter abdomen and smaller waist.

photograph, you are a great candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction.  This can be done through a low and short
incision, all completely below the bikini line. 
The belly button can be designed to look natural and have no scars on
the exterior.   Your muscles can also be
plicated resulting in a flat abdomen. 
Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of
real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate
their results.  The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are

Thank you for your question and series of photographs.  Based on the amount of stretch marks to your abdomen, as well as the amount of excess skin present I think you would most benefit from a full tummy tuck and liposuction of your waist and flanks.  The tummy tuck will tighten your stomach muscles, helping to achieve a flatter appearance, while removing excess skin and adipose tissue.  Liposuction can be used to enhance your tummy tuck results by narrowing your waist and removing isolated areas of diet and exercise resistant fat, but can not be used alone as it will cause an increase in your skin wrinkling and sagging.  Hope that this helps.

If you want a flat, tight tummy, then, based on your photos, you need a tummy tuck.  "Skin removal" is another way to say a type of tummy tuck.  But a full tummy tuck will remove that loose skin and tighten the stretched muscles.  That will give you your best result.  Look at before/after photos of women with tummies like yours.  They do not have good results from liposuction alone, which would make them smaller, but would create more loose skin.  A tummy tuck would give you your best result.Best wishes,Dr. Kavali
