Could I do a payment plan for a tummy tuck?

Hello I'm wondering if there are payment plans for tummy tucks. I gained over 175 pounds during my pregnancy I had preeclampsia and was ordered bed rest at 22 weeks. I don't have any credit but is there surgeons who would accept monthly cash payments? I have so much wrinkly loose skin and I exercise so much but can't get rid of it!!

There are many third party companies that can assist in financing
your  plastic surgery, so depending on your timeline, you can either
save up for your surgery, or go with a third party financing company. Many of our patients have in fact worked with an outside financing company, which allows them to set
up affordable monthly payments they can manage. Third-party financing can be a
great payment option for many people. However, financial stability is
always necessary, even when considering third-party financial support. I hope this helps!

If you can afford monthly payments, then financing is an option. Many surgeon offices offer financing through a third party. There are weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payment plans. For more information, please ask your surgeon. In Canada, financing companies include Crelogix and Credit Medical.

best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  Many surgeons offices offer payment plans.  This can help in many situations.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

It is worth having multiple consultations to evaluate cost variation among surgeons in your area.   Many practices offer financing plans to lessen the upfront cost. Choose a board certified plastic surgeon based upon experience and the results he or she can deliver, not just on cost alone.Hope this helps and good luck with your procedure.

Surgery can be financed thought credit companies. I do not know of any surgeon that will accept  monthly installments directly.

There are various credit companies with which you can establish a monthly payment plan. If you do not qualify for these, you can establish a pre-payment plan, akin to layaway. I've seen this done before, albeit rarely. You pay monthly until you've paid off the total cost, and then you have your surgery. The sooner you pay it off, the sooner you get your surgery. Win-win situation for all! You get to have your procedure and the plastic surgeon doesn't have to take on the risk of a person not wanting to pay after the fact for the plastic surgeon's labor, time, and highly-specialized skill set. I've seen this solution work for those who need a payment plan and cannot obtain credit for their elective procedure. Best of luck!

Plastic surgeons offices can point you in the right correction when it comes to “credit” companies that work with patients seeking surgery.  Although your desire to proceed with tummy tuck surgery is certainly understandable, it is always in patients' best interest to achieve a certain degree of financial stability prior to undergoing elective surgery of any type. Patients should also keep in mind that additional surgery may be necessary in the short or long term, following the primary procedure that is being performed; this additional surgery may be associated out-of-pocket expenses. Again, best to achieve a physical, emotional, psychosocial, and financial “stable state” prior to considering elective plastic surgery. Best wishes as you reach your goals.
