Each surgeon has their own pre operative and post operative recommendations. You should address this question with your chosen surgeon. Regards,
Thank you for your excellent question. Though I can understand the desire to lose weight in order to maximize your surgical results it is best to follow a healthy diet and exercise regimen to do so. Though Alli may help you lose weight, it would be important that the lifestyle modifications needed to stay at that weight are in place so that your achieved results remain long-term. Hope this helps.
Patients interested to loose weight after at tummy weight loss with over the counter medications (e.g. Alli, etc) should ask the plastic surgeon that performed the procedure if it is safe to do so. Significant fast weight loss could potentially affect the results of a tummy tummy.
Ideally, you should be at your minimum weight prior to your surgery. While it is best to get there using diet and exercise, over the counter medications to "help" shouldn't be a problem. However, all medications and supplements, with some exceptions should be stopped prior to your surgery,. 8 month prior to your surgery shouldn't be a problem. I would discuss all medications and supplements with your physician before proceeding, Best of luck.

You will require an in person assessment to determine if the muscles have in fact separated after your surgery. Regards,
As long as your in an accredited training program, such as USC, UCLA, you will be in good hands. These are wonderful training programs with the highest standards. There affiliated Hospitals are also staffed by these residents. Commonly, the prices are cheaper at these institutions.
I see no reason why you could not have a tummy tuck after breast reduction surgery. I often do both surgeries at the same time. As long as your recovery has been uneventful and you have some help at home it should be okay. Recovery after tummy tuck is much harder than breast reduction.
Hello, Thank you for your question. Congratulations on your weight loss. While a tummy tuck should be a permanent surgery, you results can be negated if you become pregnant. For this reason, women should wait until they are finished having children before having this procedure. All the best.
Thank you for sharing your photograph and question and I am sorry to hear of your recovery difficulties. Because the areas of greatest redness are where adhesives, bandages, or ointments were likely placed after surgery, this appears to be an allergic reaction. Gentle washing of the area,...
