Kendall Roehl, MD, is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She joined Memorial Plastic Surgery in March 2016, leading their first branch in Clear Lake. She offers cosmetic and reconstructive surgery procedures for the face, body, and breasts.
Getting super nervous. My surgery is in 2 weeks and I'm nervous I'll look too top heavy. I'm currently 5'3, 130lbs, 34B and am set to get 365cc smooth round high profile implants. Anybody on here around my sane stats? Updated on 2 Dec 2022: Just an update of my surgery! It went so quick and Dr. Roehll and her team had amazing bedside manner. I haven’t personally looked at myself without the surgical bra, but so far so good. Just feeling like a snowman and excited to see what they look like when they drop. Updated on 4 Dec 2022: Today is day 4 and decided to take a peak at my new boobs. They look huge!!! I’m praying they settle down a little. Feeling a little regret when I tried on a sweater this morning. I also weigh 10 pounds heavier than I was pre op. I think it has something to do with all the swelling and water retention. Updated on 4 Dec 2022: Still day 4! I don’t have any pain which is great. I’m just trying to adjust to having boobs. I’m liking the looks in a tank top but in sweaters or loose tops not so much. I’m going to need to go shopping. Updated on 5 Dec 2022: Starting to feel a lot better. Today I drove for the first time since surgery for a lymphatic massage and it was slightly painful when steering.I'm feeling more like myself though and the boobs are starting to settle. Planning to lay low tonight and then my first post op appointment is tomorrow. Ready to get back to work and my normal activities. Updated on 6 Dec 2022: Each day keeps getting bette and better. Had my first post op appointment today and everything is looking good. Ready fir these boobs to start dropping now! Updated on 11 Dec 2022: Feeling so much better today and my boobs are looking a lot nicer and not as swollen. I’m Happy that all of my clothes still fit and the tops that I hated to wear look a lot nicer now. Last week I was depressed about the size CCs I chose because they looked HuGe! Today they feel and look a lot smaller and I’m loving my results. It’s still less then 2 weeks post surgery so I’m exited to see how that look 2 months from now! Updated on 3 Jan 2023: Officially 1 month post op! I started massaging at 2 weeks. They have softened a little bit. I get weird muscle type pains in just my left breast sometimes. Not sure if that’s normal….They seem to be healing nicely. Today was the first day since surgery that I did a Peloton workout. That went okay…. I’m just out of shape now that I haven’t been working out for a month. I also tried doing core…. That didn’t go so well. I will stick to cardio workouts until I feel comfortable again. Updated on 7 Jan 2023: They have gotten a lot smaller over the weeks! I never thought I would say this but I somewhat wish I went a little bigger. However they look proportionate to my body and couldn’t be happier! Each week they get better and better! Updated on 29 Mar 2023: Officially 4 months post op and there are a few changes I would have made. 1. I think I would do overs vs under the muscle. You can’t tell by this pic but I have slight animation deformity because I workout. It’s noticeable when I do certain movements. 2. I think I would go bigger. I like that I can hide them but no one can tell I have my boobs done. Even in low cut tops.maybe I should switch up my bras because the tee shirt bras don’t do much for me. My bombshell bra actually made me look bigger then they do now. My advice is to trust the process. Each month has been different and I’m just taking it month by month.
This is the best plastic surgeon in Houston. I am so blessed that I found her and she was able to help me after my breast cancer diagnosis and mastectomy. She was very patient and supportive. When I was in the preop area of the hospital, the nurse told me they all love her and that she won't let you leave the OR until your perfect. I can honestly say that statement was not only true but the compassionate way she cared for me after was far beyond what I expected. If you have a choice, choose her.
This was my 2nd time being scheduled with Dr. Roehl. The first time I cancelled surgery back in the Fall 2018. The second time, my consult was scheduled post-covid and was May 2020. I booked that same day for BBL, Tummy Tuck, Lipo 360 with arms, inner thighs and chin with scheduled surgery date of 09/18/20. However, I asked to be put on waitlist in event that someone cancelled to get surgery sooner. I was concerned about the state shutting down again and being unable to have my surgery in September. I was contacted the week after July 4th about sx of 07/13 which I agreed to. I had to get lab work and covid testing immediately. Day of surgery, after being prepped, I was told surgery would be cancelled due to someone hitting water main and their being no water in the building. I wasn’t upset, saw or as if it was God saying “not today”. I was contacted the next morning to reschedule surgery for Thursday 7/16 at 8am. Everything went well. Dr, Rowhl came in as marked me and reviewed my chart. The entire team made the experience so much better. I was laid on the table and I don’t remember anything after seeing the nurse anesthesist put something in my IV. I am currently 4 days post op and feeling very stiff and extremely swollen but very impressed with what I’m seeing so far. Updated on 28 Jul 2020: Ok...I am 12 days post op and I can say that this has been the most emotional journey I have been on in my life. I am a mother of 5 kids all born via c-section and most recent birth was 02/2020. My tolerance for pain is extremely high. This process by far is very uncomfortable. The pain is really nonexistent but the discomfort mounts with the inability to get comfortable and lack of sleep due to that very reason. The first 1-3 days were fine but days 4-7 were the toughest. I think that is when swelling, discomfort and soreness peaked. My arms, to me, were or have been the most difficult for me because I was swollen and unable to reach around my own body to do thinks like put my hair in a ponytail or wipe myself properly. The massages help but they also hurt, IME, towards the end of the 10 sessions. It is very important to have a support system in place to help with those challenging moments. Also, I had no appetite (still don’t) due to Dr. Roehl tightening everything during tummy tuck. She said it’s normal. I do feel much better but some days are a hit or miss and I seem to have more good days as time processes. Dr. Roehl did not disappoint and she is just too CUTE!!!! Updated on 28 Jul 2020: Post op day 2 lymphatic massage. This video was done after my day 2 massage. You are draining the first few days very heavily and it begins to subside some over time. However, the point of the massages is to get that fluid out of your body.
I had lipo 360 + hip grafting + breast augmentation with a lift. Currently 2 days post op and feeling good! Dr. Roehl was and has been incredible. The entire team was incredible! From my consultation to recovery, they've been great! The pain for me isn't as bad as I expected. The drain hurts and is uncomfortable, but other than that no complaints. I don't have much drainage in my drains. I'm hopeful that they'll be taken out on Wednesday! Updated on 23 Jun 2020: Yesterday I received my first massage. It was a little uncomfortable, but I felt so much better afterwards. I just woke up (4:48AM) to use the rest room on post op day 4 and I’m feeling great! My soreness is leaving. Pain is truly non-existent it’s more of like an uncomfortable feel. My implants feel good. They aren’t extremely sore at all. If anything, I feel like most of the soreness comes from the lipo. I have noticed that the lipo does make your skin very sensitive. It hurts to touch unless it’s very moisturized. The foam boards are uncomfortable, but they are there for more compression and will give better results. They’ve helped with my swelling and bruising. If anything, I just have lots of fluid built up which the massages will help with. I’m doing my first set of 5 this week and then will do about two a week for the next six weeks or so. I forgot to upload pictures on the first post so here are some pictures as well..
I’m 5’5 160lbs. I’ve always had broad shoulders butt and thighs but the breast area has always been small. I’ve been to six consultations with surgeons in the Houston area and finally found one that I felt most comfortable & I really connected with as far as my likes and dislikes. My mom also agreed which to me is always a good feeling having her support. I found Dr.Roehl and Memorial Plastic Surgery on instagram while researching doctors in the area & part of my knew she was who I wanted to do my surgery, but I went to three consultations before I met with her me two after just to be sure. As soon as she came in she asked me what my goals were and began showing me pics of BA results. I tried on implants with Stephany and decided on a size. What I liked most was that everything was based on my body frame & what size would best make the rest of my body look proportionate. I was also as advised to go bigger than the size I liked in order to get the lookI desired. I went to the consultation on Wednesday and booked my operation Friday the same week. I’m excited and confident that Dr. Roehl will make my breast look amazing Updated on 30 May 2019: My wish pics & some pics of me trying on sizes. Decided on 520 cc’s based on my body frame. I also have big arms & I feel like it takes away from the size on my boobs in the side view. I’ve been in the gym trying to get them smaller so we’ll see. We all agreed that this size made my body look more proportionate & that’s what I’ve always wanted over all, for my curves at the bottom to be up top as well. Updated on 6 Jun 2019: Pushed up my procedure because of school. I’ll have two weeks to recover. Also the sooner the better! I still have a few months but I’m super excited ???? Updated on 15 Aug 2019: Tomorrow is the day.. I’m so anxious! I’ve been counting down since last Friday. Idk about anyone else but Ive been having horrible nightmares about the whole experience. One that I Over slept & missed my surgery & another that they weren’t able to fit my implants in so they just closed me up & I didn’t get any boobs. Also, my mom won’t be here for my procedure. I think that’s the part that worries me the most, but my bf will be taking care of me & I trust my physician completely. Praying that everything goes well. I picked up my prescriptions, spoke to the pre-op nurse at the surgery center yesterday & bought all of my pre-op needs (ice packs, wedge pillow, neck pillow, heating pad, Jenny Edens Boobie Butter & Salve). I’ve been using the butter for about two weeks & I like it. I think it’s gonna go a great job at keeping my skin from drying out when I get my boobs. I plan on going back to work the following Tuesday & I work in a doctors office, so I ordered this scrub top that snaps up the front opposed to the ones I have to lift over my head. I’m praying the pain will be manageable by then. I haven’t really told anyone about my surgery so I’m kinda curious to see how everyone will react. Regardless of anyone’s responses though, I did this for me. Not because I don’t love myself, but because this is something that I’ve wanted for years & finally got the opportunity to pursue it. Updated on 27 Aug 2019: I haven’t been taking pics like I should be but today I noticed that my chest isn’t as tight which makes sleeping a little bit easier. The first few nights sleeping was a breeze probably because of the meds but at night four I tossed & turned. I even slept in the theater chairs my boyfriend has & that was pretty comfy. The wedge pillow helps my after the first few days my butt hurt from sitting up & sleeping all night lol. I went back to work three days after my procedure. Took all six of my prescriptions for a full week. The pain was completely bare-able.. I honestly thought it would be way worse. The tightness was more uncomfortable than anything else. Some sharp pains & soreness that I think was my muscle contracting but it came & went. My boobs were completely numb at first & right now I think I’m slowly getting the feeling back because they randomly feel tingly. Also I can tell that they’re dropping because right under my boobs below the incision in the crease I guess is really sore right were my ribs are & it wasn’t before. I went to my week post op appt this past Friday & it was short & sweet. I can start massaging them at two weeks. I started early just because I felt like it wasn’t painfully to move them so why not. Three times a day but I find myself touching them a lot through out the day lol. I’m extremely happy with how they look & I’m excited to see the end result. We’re going on a cruise in March & my birthday is also in March so trust & believe I will be showing off the girls. My goal was to be a D but regardless of the bra size I have way more boob now then I’ve ever had before. Already my outfits & tops fit so much better. My body looks SO much more proportionate. I have no regrets so far & I can say that my surgeon did an amazing job. Updated on 7 Sep 2019: Sleeping has gotten SOOO much better. Still using a neck pillow tho but I’m able to sleep on my side with little discomfort. I’ve started using the scar salve from Jenny Eden this week because I noticed the left scar is more bumpy than the right. I went to the gym last night for the first time since before my surgery & did 30min on the stair master. Felt so good to go back. Theres a small burn on my right boob that looks like a bruise. I was scared that I had a Hematoma but it came from falling asleep with an ice pack on my chest. I still don’t have any feeling in my nipples but it’s slowly coming back. I might look into getting scar strips or something else for my scars. Leave a comment if you know what works.
Hi!! I’m 5’1 120lbs and I scheduled a BBL & Breast Augmentation today with Dr. Roehl. I have had 4 C sections but I do not have tons of fat to pull from so I will be gaining as much as possible. Surgery is scheduled for 6/20. I can’t express how much I love Dr. Roehl.. she’s so sweet, caring and understanding. She doesn’t sugar coat stuff and is very knowledgeable with her procedures. Her patient care coordinator Stephany is AMAZING! They had me even before the consult was over!!! I am super anxious and excited for this journey to finally be getting real!! I will update as I go! Updated on 1 May 2019: I swear I feel like I have been eating non stop and I have only gained 1 lb. lol!!! I have been counting calories and I have been consuming in aversive about 2,100 calories per day. If anyone has any weight gain pointers let me know please!!!! Updated on 1 May 2019: Ideal wish
Dr. Roehll was an amazing doctor and I’m anxiously waiting to actually see my new boobs! Her staff is rude and not very informed at all for the questions you have during pre op AND post op. They always talk to you like they’re annoyed and answer your questions with kind of a “DUH” tone. The surgical facility I went to was not up to par (Crystal Surgical Center). Updated on 27 Mar 2019: I went from 102lbs to 167lbs during pregnancy. 32C to an 34E, breastfed for 1yr then deflated to a 32Cish. I liked the way my boobs/nipples sat so I opted for a large implant no lift to fill he extra skin. DR ROEHL DID HER THING. I was nervous in the beginning of my healing process afraid I was botched but she asked me to have faith in her so I did & it was the best thing I’ve done for my confidence EVER. Trust her. Trust he process. I got 520cc silicone HP implants.
After doing lots of research I had originally wanted Dr. Hsumd. To perform my bbl, but he had a long waiting time just for a consultation and an even longer wait for surgery. So, Jessica one of the coordinators in his office asked if I wanted to see Dr. Rohel I wasn't sure but I told her I would call back after I did my research after seeing her work on Instagram, I decided to feel more comfortable consulting her. My first consultation was on facetime she seemed very knowledgeable and I could see how she and Dr. Hsumad had similar views on how a woman's projection should look, I decided to give her a chance and of course, I had read some of her reviews and again saw some of her work on Instagram. At the end of my face time consultation, I felt confident and assured she would do a great job... trust me I have had a tummy tuck, breast augmentation, and I know when to spot a good Dr. since I have always been satisfied with my results and have minimal scarring with any of my surgeries because I do my research. After I ended my call I booked my procedure paid the fees and started to get excited. On September 26, 2018, I flew from San Diego California for my pre-op appointment. September 27, 2018, I saw Dr.Rohel in person for the first time :) she was sweet professional and discussed with me what to expect and what areas she would be working on in order to get the results I was looking for. we both agreed what would take place the next morning of the procedure. I left back to the house I had rented for my recovery since I had to stay 9 days in order to fit my one-week post-op appointment. September 28th Day of surgery I woke up my sister drove me to the center where the surgery takes place, everyone there was nice and professional I met my anesthesiologist he was nice too. I saw Dr.Rohel one more time before I was off to sleep:) she marked my body and again discussed the areas she would work on and off I went to surgery. After several hours of surgery, I went home to rest, dr, called that evening to see how I was feeling my sister let her know I was fine resting. everything went well, until the next day I woke up swollen more than what I knew I should be. I was probably the antibiotic nothing she did wrong. sometimes our body just reacts to a medication. I called her and the answering service answered my call and indirectly put me through to Dr. Rhoel I explained I was fine just a bit more swollen then I thought I should be. She immediately called in a new prescription and something to help the swelling go down and I was fine in a day. She called Sunday just to make sure I was fine as well. As I said sweet caring Dr, on October 5th I had my one-week post-op I was feeling much better, still swollen but already happy with the results I was seeing. I am now almost 1-week 1/2 and I am happy with the results I am seeing my family says but butt looks good and i am happy now? cant wait with the end result. :) Updated on 18 Oct 2018: i am pretty much doing my normal activities but still wearing my garment .i do have a FaceTime appointment tomorrow with Dr . Hopefully tomorrow I will be told I don’t need to wear it anymore :) it makes you feel heavy and bulky. Not very comfortable but I understand it important to follow dr instructions. I’m hoping I can sit on my bottom and sleep on my back soon .
I am 30 years old and wasn’t worried about facial wrinkles until I looked into the mirror one morning and saw them on my face. After that, I kept on noticing them, and they seem to keep on appearing in different areas of my face like my neck and chin. After consulting with my husband, I decided to get a facelift. A few recommendations and office visits later, I came upon Dr. Roehl and her office. I went in for an initial consultation, and I wasn’t disappointed. Dr. Roehl was genuinely welcoming, and her office staff was so accommodating and well-mannered as well. My nervousness immediately disappeared as the consultation progressed. She patiently listened and made expert suggestions on how we can go about the facelift procedure. After her thorough evaluation, she explained to me everything I needed to know and made sure that I understood all the details down to the last information. I was nervous on the day of the procedure, but Dr. Roehl and her staff were reassuring all the way. When I woke up after the surgery, I felt a bit of the swelling, but Dr. Roehl reassured me that it was normal. She provided me with post-op instructions that I made sure to follow. Three months after my facelift and I couldn’t even know my age for sure. The result was exceptional! I look a lot younger than when I first stepped into Dr. Roehl’s office! I have nothing but praises for her and her excellent work. I could never thank her enough for making me look younger than ever.
Dr. Roehl is amazing. She made me feel at ease the moment she came in for the consultation. My abs had separated greatly after baby number 2, so I had a tummy tuck. She's always encouraging and has me come in so she can check anything that's worrying me (I popped a suture once). I would see Dr. Roehl for anything and trust her completely.
Hi! To achieve the best cosmetic results and reduce the risk of complications, patients should be at their ideal weight with a BMI of around 30. Patients considering childbirth or significant weight loss should first consult a board-certified doctor, who may advise deferring surgery until their weight is stable.
Hope you are doing well after your incident. It is highly unlikely that your breast implants will burst after a fall. However, if you notice bumps in your breasts, deflation, chest pain and/or swelling, or if your breasts suddenly become hard, it is very likely that your implants have ruptured and I advise you to see your surgeon immediately.
Hello! I advise my patients not to lie on their stomachs for the first few weeks after breast implant surgery. For added comfort, you can place a pillow on your side to maintain your position. You can also sleep at a reclined angle with the support of pillows behind you to reduce the pressure on your implants so they can heal faster.
Hi! I typically advise my patients not to sleep on their stomachs after breast augmentation surgery for as long as possible until they are fully recovered. The reason for this is to give the scar capsule enough time to form around the implant and to eliminate the risk of deformity that can be caused by the pressure of sleeping on the implants. Instead, I suggest that my patients sleep on their side with a pillow behind and in front of them so they do not roll over in the middle of the night and put pressure on their breasts. That way, they will still be able to lie comfortably without possibly affecting the outcome of the procedure.
Hi! A breast lift surgically reshapes the breasts, tightens sagging or loose skin, and lifts the breasts to a more youthful position. Patients who undergo a breast lift usually suffer from drooping breasts, whether due to aging or pregnancy, and would like to restore its appearance. Breast augmentation involves the use of implants to improve the shape of the breasts. Breast augmentation can also help correct pronounced asymmetry in patients' breasts.
