As long as your in an accredited training program, such as USC, UCLA, you will be in good hands. These are wonderful training programs with the highest standards. There affiliated Hospitals are also staffed by these residents. Commonly, the prices are cheaper at these institutions.
All surgeons begin as trainees, under the guidance of other fully trained surgeons who ensure that the patients are properly selected and that the procedures are carried out properly. Though no one can guarantee you a great result, fully accredited plastic surgery training programs do an incredible job of offering the patient a nice result at an extremely affordable price.
Thank you for your question. If you are having your surgery done with a residency program, there is always a supervising surgeon in the OR with him, but I would discuss your concerns with him directly. For financing, every location has different options for financing the operation so speak directly with the center about what options they offer.
Thank you for the question and if the proposed operation is at a residency program you are probably in very good hands as the residents are supervised. As to financing there are several options that need to be discussed with your surgeon.Dr. Corbin

While I agree with most of the responses below I must add a caveat. Make sure the trainee is being supervised in an approved plastic surgical training program. There are programs out there ion which the "trainee" is supervised by a general surgeon, by an oral surgeon, etc. The best way is to go to about finding if the program is approved is to contact the American Society of Plastic Surgery Best of luck

If you have bad credit, then you will need to get that corrected before anyone will give you financing.
As long as you have healed and all the swelling has settled you can consult regarding the additional procedure. Not sure why you didn't choose to have the procedures at the same time. I personally tend to leave 6 months between procedures (mainly due to waiting list) but can be performed sooner.
Safe pregnancy after tummy tuck is possible, but I would suggest that you complete pregnancies prior to tummy tuck surgery. As you can imagine, it is impossible to predict exactly what changes will occur ( after pregnancy). Pregnancy after abdominoplasty may cause CHANGES that MAY require...
Thank you for sharing your photograph and question and I am sorry to hear of your recovery difficulties. Because the areas of greatest redness are where adhesives, bandages, or ointments were likely placed after surgery, this appears to be an allergic reaction. Gentle washing of the area,...
