Thank you for your inquiry and photo, congratulations on your surgery. It may take up to 3-6 months to see final results and for swollen to go down, you can massage your breasts to help the implant go down or if your surgeon gave your or recommended a strap band that goes around your breasts on top this is to help implants go into place as well and it is recommended to use daily as much possible. Best of luck!
Implants take different amounts of time to drop based on how tight your tissues were before the procedure. Usually your breast should look good around 6-8 weeks. However, final result and relaxation may take 4-6 months. Hope this helps.Trey Aquadro, M.D.Auburn, AL
Thank you for your question. You are still early in the post-operative period. It typically takes 3 - 6 months for the swelling to subside and and implants to settle into proper position. Please discuss your concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon. Also, make sure you follow all of your plastic surgeons post-operative instructions regarding level of physical activity and use of a support bra. Hope this helps and good luck with your recovery.
Dear Inclucas125,Dropping of implants is part of thehealing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implantsslowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It cantake about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their finalposition.I understand that you are worried aboutyour implants are not dropping as expected. However, you are still in the earlyphase of the recovery period. Please do allow some time for the healing processto occur. If after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance ofyour breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Thank you for sharing your question and photograph and congratulations on your breast augmentation. This soon out from surgery the swelling in your tissues is maintaining your implants high and flat against your chest but as this swelling resolves you should see a more natural shape and contour develop. Though they will not get "bigger" you should see the lower portion fill your bra cup more and more. Hang in there, most of these changes take place 6-8 weeks after surgery.
Thank you for your question. Your breasts will continue to change in the coming few weeks. It usually takes about 4-6 months to completely settle. Please follow instructions from your PS
Yes, it is possible that the needle struck the implant. An MRI might give you some information about the implant, but if only a little leaked out of the shell, it might not be possible to tell. I would see your plastic surgeon very soon. They would be able to tell you if the stuff you see is...
Hi. In general the cc volume is fairly similar to the total weight of the implants, thus your implants would weigh around 780g (definitely less than 1kg). You are correct that the brand & style of implant is not relevant. You didn't mention how long post-op you are. It is not uncommon to h...
Sorry to read that you are experiencing ongoing problems after surgery. This doesn’t appear to be a seroma. Its likely to be a small wound breakdown caused by an internal suture which is causing irritation. Your surgeon is in the best position to guide you on whether intervention is requ...
