Can the needle have popped my implant?

Ive been getting these terrible Cysts .I've been to the dermatologist Been put on antibiotics etc and of course I can't help but pick cuz it's annoying . So I've had this one of the inside of my breast and the dermatologist shot it with cortisone and a couple days later it looked like it camw up ..p.s stuff started to come out so I thought it was just the junk from the cyst but I think it's silicone from my breast implants?! I started noticing The stuff was oily and gel like? Ithis possible?

Yes, it is possible that the needle struck the implant. An MRI might give you some information about the implant, but if only a little leaked out of the shell, it might not be possible to tell. I would see your plastic surgeon very soon. They would be able to tell you if the stuff you see is silicone gel.

It is possible that your implant may have been ruptured. This would depend upon how deep the needle went.  You should see your plastic surgeon.

Sure, any time a needle is used in the vicinity it is possible that it could puncture an implant. Hopefully, the injection was performed superficially and well away from your implant. See your plastic surgeon without delay to have this evaluated.

Certainly this is technically possible but impossible to know over the internet unfortunately.  I would go back to see the dermatologist and also go see your plastic surgeon.  They will probably want to get you an ultrasound or MRI.  Good luck!
