Answer: Lost 80 lbs- What type of tummy tuck would be best for me? Would I need a breast lift & implant or just an implant? Hi. Of course, you need an in-person evaluation to really assess things but based on your pictures, for the breasts you would need a lift in addition to implants if you are wanting to go larger. The abdomen I would recommend a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty). I do a muscle repair as standard procedure for all of my tummy tucks. You could ask your specific surgeon about that. I would recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon with good experience in doing this combination of procedures, commonly referred to as a mommy makeover. Good luck and take care, Dr. Howell

Answer: Bellesoma Method, tummy tuck and then liposuction with possible fat transfers I would begin with you breasts using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. At the same time or later, a tummy tuck can be done. If you are not planning future pregnancies, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight. After these have been completed, you can undergo liposuction and fat transfers to the breasts if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
