Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and congratulations on your baby! If your family is complete I would advocate for a combination of 360 truncal liposuction with a formal full tummy tuck. The tummy tuck will tighten your stomach muscles, helping to achieve a flatter appearance, while removing excess skin and adipose tissue. Liposuction will enhance your tummy tuck results by narrowing your waist and removing isolated areas of diet and exercise resistant fat. I would favor the full tummy tuck approach because your skin and muscle laxity is present above and below your belly button. Hope that this helps
Thanks for your question. It all depends on your ares of concern. If your concern is your abdominal area, then from your pictures, you seem to be a good candidate for a tummy tuck. I recommend scheduling a consult for a proper evaluation. Please always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Take care, Dr. Moises Salama, board certified plastic surgeon.
Hi! Congrats on your new baby and wedding to come! In regards to your breasts, they're probably droopy after you pregnancy. In order to improve their shape I would recommend an implant exchange and breast lift. This will improve your nipple position, reshape them to a rounder and perkier breast and create more upper pole fullness (cleavage!). For you abdomen, it seems like you developed significant diastasis recti (muscle separation) from your pregnancy. I think a combination of loosing some weight before the surgery (to decrease the amount of visceral fat - fat inside your belly) and a tummy tuck will improve the contour of your abdomen. I also include liposuction of the flanks with my TTs to improve the waist definition. Hope this helped!
Thanks for your inquiry and excellent pictures, but without more information about future plans about additional children it is hard to advise. You appear as you will need a full tummy tuck with muscle repair, but should wait till you are done having children and and are within 10 pounds of your goal weight. Please seek the in person consultation of a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss further, best of luck.
I recommend you begin a low fat diet, core exercises such as sit-ups, planks, pilates and start wearing a abdominal binder. If you are not planning future pregnancies, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight. Liposuction can be done at the same time or after. Liposuction can safely remove 10 lbs per session.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Great question. It depends on what bothers you. Before going to surgery, you should be at a stable weight and not have immediate plans to get pregnant again soon. To address your abdomen, you can consider a tummy tuck with rectus plication (tighten the loose muscles in the midline that often become loose with childbirth) with some liposuction to the flanks. Sagging of the breasts often happens after pregnancy, especially if you are breast feeding. In that case, you can consider a breast lift. Congratulations on the baby and upcoming wedding!
HI CT, At some point, a tummy tuck would help with your abdominal contour. At this time, you would need to lose some weight first as there is quite a bit of fact on the inside of your abdomen. You should not have any plastic surgery on your abdomen until you can get back down to a more reasonable weight. Much of the fat that is inside would not be treated with the TT.My advice is to begin a careful weight loss program that would combine exercise and diet to give you a chance to lose the weight and keep it off. As you wedding is 2 years off, I think that starting now in a slow and careful weight loss program would give you the best chance to achieve a healthy and slimmer figure. Good Luck,Dr. Christine Rodgers
Your BMI of 28+ is fine for the TT and lipo. I would recommend that you lose about 10 pounds to make the TT and plication easier to perform. Your plastic surgeon can recommend the best method for removing the decreasing the dents or cellulite on your buttocks.
Hello and thank you for posting your photos. A TT with Muscle Repair plus liposuction of flanks and waist is your best option. If your interested in back lipo and BBL, this can also be added on. I suggest losing a little bit of weight if possible. Your BMI is actually good but it seems you have lots of projection in your tummy. Losing some weight might make this smaller and therefore easier for the surgeon to perform muscle repair. This ultimately means a safer procedure with better results and a flatter tummy. Best of luck,Dr. Miguel Mota
Based on these photos, there are few procedure you may consider as MMO. Abdominoplasty (TT) is must to. Liposuction of torso (abdomen, flanks, lower back) with possible fat transfer to buttock/hips (shaping/augmentation) should be considered, as well as breast lift/reduction. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended. Good luck.
Dear CTMomma, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Your abdominal surgery will have no change on your breasts. If you want some additional volume, you might consider a fat transfer to the breasts.
Hello, 45 is definitely not too old for a mommy makeover. What is more important than age is that you are healthy and medically optimized before your surgery in terms of any other health issues (high blood pressure, diabetes, etc). or medications you take. Your plastic surgeon will determine any...
Hi Kind83836, Your abdomen skin has multiple stretch marks, and likely has lost elasticity. Liposuction works best when the skin is very elastic, and can rebound/tighten after underlying fat is removed. With the quality of skin shown in the picture, I'd be worried that liposuction would produce...
