QUESTIONS ANSWERED

What is the difference (if any) between Natrelle Soft Touch, Responsive and Cohesive implants?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

The difference in the three implants are increasing cohesivety of the gel. The most cohesive is usually reserved for breast reconstruction. The Response and Soft Touch are the softest and middle firmness, respectively. If you are going for the round "augmented look," then the soft touch might be the better option. If you are looking for "natural results," then the Response should work just fine. You should not experience much rippling with silicone gel.

Is it possible to get cleavage after your first surgery?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Getting cleavage from a breast augmentation is multifactorial. One of the biggest limitations is your own body habitus and where the pectoralis muscle inserts on your sternum. Do you have a wide sternum? Are your breast naturally wide and do the nipples point laterally? Secondly, the pocket dissection also plays a role in building medial cleavage. Thirdly, implant size and cohesively. You may also want to ask your surgeon about adjunct procedures such as a mesh internal bra, or medial fat grafting. Hope this helps

Want multiple face and body procedures, can they be combined in one anesthesia?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

You should break up these up into two OR procedures. For safety purposes and surgeon fatigue, the face procedures could be performed in one setting, and the body procedures could be performed in a separate setting. I would not recommend getting all of these at the same time. Hope this helps

45 years old- Am I too old for a mommy makeover?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

No, you are not too old for a MMO. There is no age restriction and if this surgery will help bring back your pre-childbearing confidence, then you should go for it! Just discuss with your plastic surgeon any co-morbidities you may have so that you are safe for surgery. A BMI of 30 is fine to move forward with a MMO. Good Luck!

Lost 80 lbs- What type of tummy tuck would be best for me? Would I need a breast lift & implant or just an implant? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Difficult to tell from the photos, but it appears that you will need a lift with your implant. You will also need a standard abdominoplasty with fascial plication. Hope this helps and good luck!

Is 6.5 hours for a mommy makeover the amount of time I will be under anesthesia?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

A MMO can include many different procedures, so the estimated time will be determined by how much you are getting done. The core of a MMO is breast and tummy work, which should be at, or under 6 hours. If you are doing more procedures, and the time is estimated to be over 6 hours, then you should have this done in a hospital setting with the option for an overnight observation. Hope this helps.

5'5, 200 lbs - Why can I not have a procedure done? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Keep in mind that a BMI less than 30 is the cut off for many plastic surgeons, but not all. Your results may not be as dramatic if you had less body mass index and more loose skin, but you certainly could have an improvement. My recommendation would be to seek a few second opinions from plastic surgeons and you may find one willing to operate on a BMI of 33. Good luck!

4’11, healthy, 105-110lbs pre-pregnancy: what is the recommended weight requirement to get a mommy makeover? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Most plastic surgeons recommend a BMI under 30 for the best MMO results. Irregardless of BMI, if you have significant loose skin of the abdomen without significant fat, then you would most likely make a good candidate for a tummy tuck. I would not recommend actively trying to gain weight, just to have enough fat to transfer to the buttock. Speak with your plastic surgeon about BBL options in thinner patients. Hope this helps!

Should I get a tummy tuck and breast lift first, then lipo and BBL? Or all at the same time? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

If you want to keep your surgery under 5-6 hrs, and for recovery reasons, you should break up your surgeries. I would recommend starting with the abdominoplasty and breast first. You may want to get a detailed consultation with your plastic surgeon first, as he may have different recommendations given your thinner physique on the profile photos. Hope this helps!

Breast aug or breast aug with lift? Looking for a natural result that fits my body (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

You do not need a lift with your breast augmentation as your breast and nipple areolar complex are in the correct anatomical position. For a natural result, you could choose a smaller implant size, sub muscular, and/or anatomically shaped implants. Hope this helps!
