I want this asymmetry dealt with. I've had 3 consultations with local doctors. The doctors didn't make me feel confident they knew how to deal with these upper pockets of fat with a regular TT (No fleur de lis please.) I've had to pay for my consultations and I don't want to pay for another one unless the doctor has worked with this issue. I was 301lbs, now @ 240lbs 36% BMI. trying my best to lose another 10lbs to get to 35%. Want procedure ASAP. Please someone help!
Answer: Bellesoma Method and tummy tuck with mesh A lot of your upper excess abdominal skin can be improved with a breast lift. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, you will need a tummy tuck. If you are not planning future pregnancies, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Surgery I would suggest doing liposuction of the abdomen and flanks and remove a fair amount of the excess fat that is causing the asymmetry. Once you get your weight down, then consider a tuck if needed.

Answer: Considering options Congratulations on your weight loss! For best results I recommend first achieving your goal weight before considering surgery. A full tummy tuck with liposuction for contouring should bring a nice improvement. Liposuction of the back and flanks with potentially a bra line lift should improve the contours of the back.

Answer: Tummy tuck Dear One in aMilli, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Candidacy for procedure to improve symmetry of abdomen. Hi and welcome to our forum! From your photos, I note fullness of the abdomen and flanks with asymmetry due to fat deposition. You report your BMI as 36. BMI, or body mass index (weight in kg / square of height in meters) is one criterion to determine the results of a cosmetic surgery. You can find BMI calculators on the internet. If your BMI is greater than 30, the cosmetic result will not be optimal. If your BMI is greater than 35, your operative risk will begin to rise. If diet and exercise fall short of your goal, one consideration is to undergo a gastric sleeve procedure, performed by a bariatric surgeon, which will result in significant weight loss. The procedure is now performed on an outpatient basis. This will result in diminution of belly fat as well as from other parts of your body. You will most likely require plastic surgical intervention at a later date to remove excess skin and soft tissue. Best wishes...
