Im 5'4, 140 lbs and a "C/D" cup currently & getting my saline BA in 3 weeks. My doctor told ne the office wont do implants over 650cc so i planned to get 650cc in one breast and 600cc in the other, but im curious as to where that will be enough to give me the big fake look im going for?
Answer: Best breast implants for me? Thank you for the question. Based on your photographs, I think that you are starting at a good place and should have a very nice outcome with breast augmentation surgery. Ultimately, careful selection of plastic surgeon and careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, in bra sizers, and computer imaging) as well as careful measurements (dimensional planning) will be critical.Given your concerns, it is definitely worth spending more time (preferably prior to the date of surgery) with your plastic surgeon to discuss further. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. For example, I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "D or DD cup" or "big fake look" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers. I hope this (and the attached link, dedicated to larger breast augmentation surgery concerns) helps. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.

Answer: Implants Selecting the appropriate volume implant to use is a very individual decision. Putting in implants is not like putting bumpers on Chevrolets. Each patient is different. You might get a lot of differing opinions on this website, but none of them is as good as the opinion of someone who can examine you in person, listen to your goals, and then help you select the proper size implant to use. Some doctors base their recommendations on very specific measurements and other criteria. Some simply go by their experience. I would suggest scheduling more than one consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon in order to get a couple of opinions before you make a decision.

Answer: Good sizing systems to allow the patient to choose the volume of implant most suitable. There good sizing systems that allow you to try on a given volume prior to the time you get to the operating room. Because of the large diameter of a 600 mL implant a higher profile might be indicated in your particular case. The plastic surgeon will explain this to you.

Answer: Breast implant choice Sizing of breast implants has to be done IN PERSON, based on measurements of the breast and chest, not based on height, weight, and cup size. Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons. Be certain your surgeon is properly certified. I've attached a link where you can start your search.

Answer: 600 CC's enough for me? Thanks for this question Raven. The bigger you go the more fake they will appear increasing your chances of looking like the photos you mentioned. However, there's no way to guarantee your results. You can read about choosing sizes in the link below. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)
