Scultpra is an injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid. It is an FDA approved injectable that gradually helps replace lost collagen in the aging face, it has been safely used for years. I would recommend a consultation with a board certified provider who specializes in fillers and injectables. I hope this information helps and best of luck to you!
Sculptra is a bio-stimulatory filler which leads to new collagen production. It has been used in facial aesthetics for over 12 years. Sculptra is a great filler for providing natural volume to the cheeks, temples, and jawline. Sculptra is not used to treat facial lines like the under eye hollows or lines around the mouth. Most patients need multiple treatments for best results. Rarely, small nodules can form after sculptra treatments. These are rare with the latest techniques and usually resolve on their own. To find out what treatments are best for you, seek out a Board Certified Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon in your area who specializes in facial injectables. Best of luck.
Sculptra has been used for years on the face and is a safe filler. There are risks with any filler treatment and this is true of Sculptra as well. Bruising or swelling can be temporary side effects and it is possible to get bumps or irregularities in the treated area. Lumps or bumps are rare though and can be related to the injection technique.
Thank you for your question. Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable treatment that functions as a volumizer and causes your body to produce its own filler. It is used to add volume to the face. Sculptra is a purified treatment of poly-L-lactic acid. Please make sure you seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist.
Sculptra is absolutely safe and is my preferred product for adding volume to the “frame” of the face. Sculptra adds natural volume by stimulating the body to produce collagen in the areas injected. Sculptra is FDA approved for use but risks include temporary bruising and swelling in the area injected
Thank you for your question. Yes, Sculptra is Poly L Lactic acid and is very safe for facial use. It has been used in US for about thirteen years. It requires multiple treatments. Patients need approximately one bottle per decade, and usually two to four sessions are done on a monthly basis. It's first indication was for lipo atrophy in HIV patients so does give a very nice result for facial filling. However, it does have its limitations and often times multiple fillers may be needed to achieve best results. Please consult a local board certified facial plastic surgeon for more information and a comprehensive consultation
Is Sculptra a filler? I prefer to think of it as a collagen stimulator, because it does not fill the face itself, but instead stimulates your skin to make more natural collagen. This natural collagen then fills the face, in the most natural way known. It is safe in any part of the body. Best to you, Dr. Kennedy
Sculptra is a great treatment for the face. It is natural looking and long-lasting. You look like the best version of you.
Thank you for your question. In the hands of an experienced injector Sculptra is an excellent product for the face. Sculptra is a bio-stimulator that promotes the production of your own collagen yielding a long lasting result. It is made of particles of poly-l-lactic acid suspended in water. It can take several months to see the full effect and usually requires a series of 2 or 3 sets of injections.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
Sculptra is a safe, effective product that has been on the market for years. It is made of poly - L - lactic acid which has been a primary ingredient in absorbable sutures for decades. The product has proved to be an effective biostimulant and the volumization seen after injection is due to the body's own production of new collagen, rather than simply the injection of the material, as with most traditional fillers. It is great for patients who have lost weight or simply have low body fat composition. All procedures carry some associated risks, so make certain to find an experienced injector for an exam, thoughtful conversation of your goals, and discussion of risks and benefits of treatment.
Sculptra is a collagen stimulator, and encourages new collagen formation in your skin over 6 weeks. Hyaluronic acid is a replacement for tissue ground substance, so it physically fills the space, and is gradually removed. Sculptra lasts years, HA fillers for months. My best...
Yes, it is possible that Sculptra can help you. Please consult a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon who has experience with Sculptra.
Sculptra is a great option to help boost the skin, give you some more volume and smooth some lines. Of course, no injectable will give the results that a surgical lift can give, but I've had many patients who are very satisfied with their sculptra results! It can be injected into the cheeks, ...
