I have had a great experience with Dr. Lisa Airen. She gives you her opinion and you decide what you want to do. There is no pressure to do it all. I have been completely satisfied with her recommendations and I look forward to a long relationship. Her office staff is super helpful. All good in my book.
Dr. Airan is a perfectionist and skilled injector who will not be satisfied until you get the result you are looking for. She has years of experience under her belt and I would feel comfortable receiving any treatment from her. Her skilled injection techniques are so natural, but make me look (and feel) like a more rested and beautiful version of myself. The confidence I have after treatment with Dr. Airan is priceless.
I never thought it was possible but after my first session of V-Lase , I felt like I was 40 again! (I gave birth at the age of 57 and I’m now 70). That “bladder situation” that many mothers go through, is no longer a problem. I highly recommend the series, especially if you want to bring rev up your love life!
After a full body scan for sun damage a Squamous Cell Carcinoma was found on my Neck. After a full consult the Carcinoma was surgically removed. The whole process was professionally handled and I could not be more happy with the outcome. I have nothing but the highest regard for Dr Lisa Airan and her entire team.
Yes - Accutane should help with your Rosacea and it can potentially improve the KP. It's hard to evaluate the facial swelling you are mentioning here so an in-person assessment is recommended. Accutane is a great medication but requires close monitoring. Please follow-up with a board-certified dermatologist. Best of luck!
Accutane will make you more photosensitive - meaning an increased sensitivity to UV light. I advise all of my patients taking Accutane that they have an increased risk for experiencing bad sun burns. Proper sun protection is strongly recommended. In general, tanning beds are NEVER a good option! Tanning beds emit 3-6 times the amount of radiation given off by the sun. They greatly increase your risk for all skin cancers (including melanoma) and age your skin faster. Spray tans are a good alternative here. best of luck and enjoy your trip to Mexico.
Patients who experience headaches after Botox injections usually will experience relief with Tylenol or Advil. Check with your cosmetic provider before your next appointment to see what he or she recommends to mitigate discomfort. Remember to avoid Advil prior to injections for 1-2 weeks to decrease risk of bruising.
Adding lip filler would be a great option for you before doing a Botox "lip flip." You can start by adding a syringe of filler to add volume to the upper lip which would help improve the shape and balance the upper lip with the lower lip fullness. Adding lip filler can also correct minor asymmetries of the lip and improve hydration. Please make sure to have an in-person consultation with an experienced injector!
As long as you are not getting tattooed where the Botox is being injected, then there is no contraindication for having these procedures performed independently of one another. You can have Botox injected the same day as getting your forearm tattoo. Best of luck!
