From your photos, you appear to be a good candidate for BodyTite with liposuction of the arms. BodyTite does not remove any fat, but it is capable of producing a 45% contraction in tissues. Results can be seen immediately after one treatment and are more evident over three to six months post-treatment. Wait until six months to fully evaluate the aesthetic results. Sedentary activities can be resumed in two to three days and full activity with exercise within two to three weeks.Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
You appear to be a good candidate for arm liposuction. Liposuction won't make your arms bigger, on the other hand, it removes fat making them leaner. That said, you definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Best is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
Thank you for your question. Based on your photo you appear to be a good candidate for this procedure. I would suggest to be treated by board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.Kind regards,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
Dear meaganxobreastaugjourney, arm liposuction will remove extra fat cells from your arms and make them smaller. In most cases, patients have swelling in earl postoperative period which can make their arms look bigger. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. No, liposuction won't make your arms bigger. Based on your pictures, you are a good candidate for standard liposuction, to improve your arms, and I think you'll get very good results. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less.I recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Hello! Thank you for your question. (Keep in mind that an in-person consultation is necessary for the best advice.) Based on your photos, liposuction may be a good option for you to improve the shape and contour of your arms. If you decide to pursue surgery it’s very important that you find a surgeon whom you are comfortable with and trust and who evaluates you in-person and tailors an individualized treatment plan for you and your aesthetic goals. Best of luck!Matthew A. DelMauro, M.D.
Lipo will actually make your arms smaller. In the beginning they may be bigger due to swelling. You also will maybe have some extra loose skin.It is possible.
liposuction it removes fat and in so doing it makes the area treated smaller. People who have thick layers of fat can expect a more dramatic change. Your arms look fan on your picture so you should not expect a dramatic change. Liposuction and will not tighten your skin so that's something to take in the consideration. Adding radio frequency like J plasma or thermitight can help with skin tightening. You should also be aware that arms are technically challenging and prone to uneven contours, dents and streaks if the procedure is not done well. When done correctly these things never happened. The results from liposuction in value tremendously among different providers such as carefully. A talented provider will have consistently good results and will be able to assess who will get good results and who will not. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
Hello. Great question. Congratulations on your procedure. I will suggest discussing any post op instructions with your surgeon. Every surgeon has their own post op protocol.
Liposuction of this area can be done with excellent technique, but overall skin laxity and patient expectations must be realistic.
Hi, thank you for your question. J-Plasma uses helium gas and radiofrequency energy to tighten the skin and soft tissues. This can be combined with liposuction, however, I would not recommend using it during a tummy tuck. The amount of energy being passed through your soft tissues may...
Some patients have excess tissue in the flank areas that cannot be adequately contoured through an abdominoplasty alone. This tissue is commonly treated as an extension of the abdominoplasty. In the right patient, there can be a substantial added benefit to this procedure.
You ask a very logical question. If you're having surgery on your abdomen, why does makeup on your face matter? Well, it does and it doesn't. A little makeup is not important. Eyelash extensions are a bad idea, they can drop into your eyes resulting in corneal abrasions. Heavy makeup can confuse...
Liposuction of the knees can safely be performed after a knee replacement as long as all the swelling from the surgery has subsided. Usually, a year would be sufficient in most cases as long as there has been no complications with the healing of the replacement. Best of luck.
