Thanks for the question. You should be able to go on vacation by 3-4 weeks after your surgery. But this is valid only with assuming postoperative recovery is uneventful. If any unexpected incident happens in your treatment process, this time can be extended or shortened. I wish you all the best.
I appreciate your question.I would recommend that you discuss this question with your surgeon. Your surgeon is your best resource as he/she is most familiar with your medical history and how you are feeling at this time. The best way to assess and givetrue advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certifiedplastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery.Best of luck!Dr. Schwartz
Most likely, yes you can travel by plane a month after your Brazilian Butt Lift surgery. I recommend that my patietns do not apply any direct pressure to their buttocks for 10 days. So at 1 month you should be safe. However, I would speak with your surgeon about the flight and let him/her know how long the flight is in case they have any concerns. Good luck!
In general, this is ok, but ask your surgeon about this. The key is to find a board certified plastic surgeon who has performed this thousands of times and has many reviews and before and after pictures.Kenneth Hughes, MDBeverly Hills, CA
In general, most patients can fly after one month. If you had a BBL, you might want to not sit in one position too long. Always best to ask your surgeon if it is ok to fly.
Thank you very much for your question. In general, I recommend 2 weeks of limited sitting following the procedure. At 1 month, you should be fine. I recommend you make sure that is ok with your surgeon, as every doctor has their own postoperative protocols. Best of luck!
It is a pleasure to answer your question. Yes, it is posible for you to travel on a plane after a month of your BBL procedure. Although I recommend you to visit your plastic surgeon before to make sure everything is fine after your surgery and to make sure you are safe to travel. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Thousands of patients travel overseas to get their BBL performed. For the most part , these patients fly back home from 6 to 10 days post op. Sitting for a couple hours will not hurt your results . Whenever you feel uncomfortable , just stand a little bit and release the pressure , or change pressure site. one month post op , should definitely not be a problem.Best wishes
Hi Wmonroeo,Thanks for your question. Most swelling usually subsides at 3 months which is when you can expect to see your almost final results. Usually what happens with a BBL is that if the fat is removed from the top of the butt then you will have extra skin. To correct for the extra skin you ...
Each plastic surgeon has slightly different recovery protocol when it comes to a BBL procedure. Most recommend no sitting or lying down for at least two to four weeks. Most surgeons do not use drains. Most surgeons see their patients the day after surgery. I recommend asking your surgeon these...
In my practice I would recommend staying out of the water for 6 weeks post op. Why you ask? It is to prevent infection which can be extremely serious depending on how advanced the infection becomes. I am however very cautious when it comes to patient care and follow up as I want the best results...
An evaluation would be necessary to provide recommendations. The key is to find a board certified plastic surgeon who has performed this thousands of times and has many reviews and before and after pictures.Kenneth Hughes, MDBeverly Hills, CA
I perform 6-8 BBLs per week and have studied the research about fat survival. Keeping weight off the newly transferred fat is key. I recommend 6 weeks without sitting. Sitting too soon will cause the fat to die and will greatly minimize your results. Unfortunately, so many doctors are doing this...
