Ended up with a purple lump on top lip one side only and more and more it is starting to look thinner than the opposite side. Is it possible that it didn't "take" in that area or wasn't injected deep enough?

Answer: Bruise after Restylane Injection Thank you for your question. It appears from your photographs that your lips have a bruise from the injection. This can take up 2 weeks to resolve. Also, it is too soon to determine if you need more filler. You will have to wait till all swelling to resolve to see your final results. I recommend discussing your concerns with your injector. Answer: Uneven lip injection you don't say how long ago the injection was but it probably was in a few days. the bruise will subside and if it was done within 48 hours apply ice and then after that warm compresses. in 2 weeks the result will be obvious and if it isn't even then see your doctor for resolving the issue. be sure you are seeing a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon
