I had it placed above my bridge bump and a little before the tip for a straighter profile. Apparently it dissolved much quicker than expected for me personally. What other filler can i use for longer lasting results? I know there's permanent non surgical nose jobs but for now I want the temp filler until I get rhinoplasty. Also, should I maybe get more than half a syringe this time for a better end result?

Answer: Disguising a Nasal Bump with Non Surgical Nosejob--Fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) Voluma or Juvederm are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results, which will determine how much filler is needed. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty More and more patients are requesting filler injection to camouflage irregularities and asymmetries in the nose. If injected into the precise and safe anatomic locations (midline and deep), excellent results can be obtained. I think you had a very nice initial camouflage of the dorsum, though as expected around 6-9 months re-injection will be necessary. HA fillers like Restalyne and Juvederm are excellent for nasal injections. Voluma has a high G prime making it "harder" and not as ideal for nasal injection though it does have persistence of up to 2 years. I strongly recommend against injecting silicone or permanent fillers into the nose. Please consult with a plastic surgeon who is comfortable with comprehensive nasal analysis and both rhinoplasty and the anatomy of nasal injections.
