The moment I turned 30 my skin completely changed. I had some acne problems here and there but this was worse than I had ever seen. I had massive bumps form under my right cheek that would not go away with simple at home acne treatments. I used everything under the sun to try to fix it and it kept getting worse. Finally on New Years Eve I decided I was done with the constant daily battle of fighting this horrible acne that kept spreading and I went on a search for a dermatologist. I had heard on a podcast that I listen to (The Skinny Confidential) an interview with Dr. Gross and to my surprise he was based out of NYC so I immediately called for an appointment. Dr. Gross is very friendly and warming, he had confidence that we would be able to combat this acne, which was very comforting since I had been so down about my skin for so long. We started with a simple skin care routine, antibiotics and a blood test to determine if this was hormonal cystic acne. It turns out it was exactly that and he put me on a hormone pill along with the antibiotics. During this process I was also getting light therapy treatment and peels each time we would meet (about once a month). I had a tough time with the medicine and Dr. Gross was receptive to that and he worked with me on not going the route of taking pills but rather using other ways to combat the acne. He suggested a laser treatment called smooth beam. This is was ultimately fixed my skin. After 4-5 treatments and continuing my simple skin care routine and prescription topical products my skin is fully back to normal. I don't wear foundation anymore every time I leave the house and I am so confident in my own skin. I never thought this could ever get fixed and Dr. Gross was able to do it. I can't thank him enough for what he has done for my confidence. I am so happy he is my dermatologist and look forward to going to him for all of my skins needs in the future. I will forever only use his products (the marine collection with no added oil and extra strength daily peel pads). I highly recommend his products and his practice.

Dr. Gross was amazing! He sat with me and explained the entire procedure and answered all of my questions as I was a bit nervous. Courtney, his aesthetician performed the treatment on me and with the assistance of laughing gas it was very tolerable. I treated the full face, neck and chest. I visited Dr.Gross for a SculpSure treatment. I had a really complicated case, after bad liposuction on my stomach area, skin was looking lumpy and my sides was super asymmetrical and I still had unwanted fat. I've struggled with acne and breakouts almost my entire life, which often times leave scars. As the breakouts continued to get worse I was prompted to contact the office, during which the receptionist was extremely helpful. The Smoothbeam laser treatment was outstanding, with no pain or downtime as I was able to continue my daily routine as per usual. It took a few treatments, but my skin looks the best it ever has and I owe it all to Dr. Gross!
